Wonderful home, beautifully decorated with well appointed, modern kitchen. Our family of five had plenty of room to spread out (2 masters on the upper level, also 2 bedrooms each on main level and lower level for a total of six BR's). It easily could accommodate a larger group. Main living room has a gas fireplace and large eating table (seats 8 comfortably), plus kitchen counter. Nice (though small) mud room space by front door with a bench. Basement has another gas fireplace plus a shuffleboard table that was very fun for our teenagers (and parents). Also a bumper pool table that was a nice hit. Access to slopes is via White Otter, and, since this cabin is at the end of the road, very quick to get on the access trail. Getting home is tricky to find at first, but once you know the turns, very quick and easy (against my instincts, I found it actually helps to look at a map rather than relying on guessing). Big Sky itself is wonderful. Great skiing with short lines an sparsely populated slopes (we stayed the week before Christmas). On a clear day there's few if any more beautiful ski spots in the country. There are fewer restaurants in the main village than you might expect of a ski resort of Big Sky's size. We wound up cooking at home more than we originally planned, which was fine. We stopped in another cabin on this same road. Same layout but the one we were staying in was much more nicely decorated and equipped. Overall an outstanding place to stay - highly recommend it!

Elaine over the phone was a great resource for information A woman met us when we arrived and was so welcoming. She told us events going on in town and places to see.
We stayed here 1 week for a summer family reunion with 6 adults and 5 children (2-16). This home was clean, filled with great mountain interior decorating, and had 3 levels of living space. Its located right on a ski mountain. We spent 2 days exploring Yellowstone (about 45-60 min away) and spent the rest of the days fly fishing, horseback riding, ziplining and hiking.

TripAdvisor Review: Excellent location for skiing! We just returned home from a wonderful Easter weekend in Montana! We have rented various houses and condos in Big Sky over the years. We really enjoyed this particular Powder Ridge cabin because of the ease and convenience to ski in and ski out. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. The kitchen was set up nicely for us to cook and set up shop for a few days. We used the shuffleboard table a lot for family fun! All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to book this cabin again. IF I had one thing I would change is that there isn't a wood burning fireplace. Not a big deal in the big picture, but the smell of a fire and the crackle on a cool evening were missed just a little bit:) Great cabin for families!

TripAdvisor Review: This amazing residence allowed 13 friends from across America to re-invigorate friendships and forge lasting memories. Left on Jun 24, 2015 for a stay in Apr 2015 The residence was absolutely amazing. It slept eleven friends very conveniently. The kitchen and dinning room allowed for ease to cook and feel right at home around the table. The down stairs bedroom beds were like sleeping on heavenly mattresses, blankets and pillows. The washer and dryer were absolutely bullet proof and allowed for skiers and snowboarders to prep in no time there gear for the following day. To top it all off, nothing beat after a long day on the mountain jumping in the state of the art Jacuzzi to limber up for another day on the mountain. I would recommend this rental to any future family, group of friends, or organization coming to Big Sky. P.S. I tried to ask the owner if I could just live there and be an all time house keeper. Didn't work. That's how cool the residence was.

TripAdvisor Review: Big Sky at it's finest- While this year's lack of snow pack didn't allow a true ski in-ski out experience in the late season (most years it does all season), the cabin was absolutely perfect. Comfortably fitting a large number of people, it provided a great space for the apres-ski and for recharging for the next day of skiing. The cabin has large amounts of outdoor space including a nice hot tub overlooking a little backyard where we set up a bikini/swim suit sledding competition. This review is the subjective opin

TripAdvisor Review: This cabin is AWESOME. This place is huge, in the perfect spot on the mountain for ski-in ski-out, and on the corner so you are not surrounded by other renters. Decorated with a rustic feel, it feels like you are in a cabin in the wilderness, except instead of roughing it you are living like a king with a modern kitchen, huge old-school wooden dinner table, flat screen TVs and a game room complete with shuffleboard and poker tables. Not to mention the hot tub, huge balcony with fireplace, and nice bedrooms with huge beds. This place is tough to beat for the price/location/ambiance compared to other places I have stayed in Big Sky.

TripAdvisor Review: Great place with tons of space! For the past two years, we have stayed at Elk Hollow for the final ski weekend at Big Sky. This place is great. It's close to town but also quiet enough you can sleep at night, the hot tub is a great place to hang out after skiing, and it's huge. We always have a big group and it's more than enough space. The ski locker out front is nice too, to store gear.
