Great for both skiers and snowboarders. There is a short flat section that may challenge very young children or snowboarders. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid December, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid April, prior to resort closing. Please inquire for details.
Ski In:
Follow the signs towards the White Otter Access. Cross over the White Otter skier access bridge. At the end of the bridge turn right and then follow until you cross under White Otter Chair lift. Your cabin will be on the right once you cross under the chairlift. Exit the trail after the third group of garages and cross the road back to the front of your cabin. (Green access)
Ski Out:
Put skis on in front of the cabin and cross the road to the access point. Ski the groomed access trail next to the chairlift. This starts flat and will require skating or poling. Follow this trail along the White Otter chair lift to load. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)

Property: Great spot. Rented the house for an annual guys ski trip, and it was perfect - easy ski-in/ski-out location, proximity to base area and town, and very comfortable accommodations. Not an overly large place, but more than enough room for the 7 guests we had, whether we were eating in the dining areas or just hanging out. Great hot tub as well, though only room for 4 at a time. Easy parking (including 1 garaged space) and convenient exterior ski closet were additional nice to haves. Would stay here again for sure!- Adam , Posted:

Property Manager: Our experience was exceptional. The communication we received from Big Sky rentals was second to none. We felt very well informed during our entire time at Big Sky. The electronic check in was awesome as was all of the info we received prior to the trip. Prompt responses to questions was also greatly appreciated. Thank you for making our vacation so easy and enjoyable. Property: Powder Ridge Red Cloud 9A was just perfect for our crew of 6. We had tons of space and the cabin itself was just beautiful. Each room had its own feel and the bedding was super comfortable. The living room was perfect with a fire each night to discuss and laugh about our day. The kitchen worked great and had most of the things we needed to prepare our meals. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the entire unit when we arrived especially with this crazy covid-19 time. We created our own little family bubble and it worked great and we felt good and safe all the time. The hot tub was also a huge hit. We used it daily to relieve sore skiing legs. Family and friends trip to ski Big Sky could not have been better. The lower level was a great hangout for the five twenty somethings . This was their tv, sleep and hot tub zone. The main floor living gave us space to eat meals together and watch some tv together. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare daily hot breakfast and some dinners. We made the three bathrooms work with a liberal sharing policy! I could see if this were a situation with three couples up and kids downstairs, there would be four adults sharing the main floor bathroom. Overall, GREAT location. Great space usage. Property Manager: The rental team was seamless. We never knew they were there and everything just worked. Property: We stayed at the house for spring break with a number of dads and college kids. The house was perfect with a bunk room for 3 kids and then suites for the dads. Location made the difference for us as this was a true Ski in Ski out property with a real estate lift that took us to the slopes in the morning and an easy cruiser home at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked for meals in and the size worked well for 7 of us. It is a rustic cabin, not the taj mahal, but it was perfect for us.- Michael , Posted:
