Ski Rating 4.5 out of 5:
Located directly across from the White Otter Access next to the chair lift (anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is December 16, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions).

Follow Lower Morningstar to the SECOND set of Powder Ridge signs as indicated on the map. Exit here to skier’s left.
Follow the signs towards the White Otter Access. Cross over the White Otter skier access bridge. At the end of the bridge turn right and then follow until you cross under White Otter Chair lift. Your cabin will be on the right once you cross under the chairlift. Exit the trail after the second group of garages. (Green access)

Put skis on in front of the cabin and cross the road to the access point. Ski the groomed access trail next to the chairlift. This starts flat and will require skating or poling. Follow this trail along the White Otter chair lift to load. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)

This house was perfect for our two families with children. Skiing in/out is such a nice experience. Checking-in was super easy and communication was great. The cherry on the cake was to have to lift tickets picked up and ready on the table for us to go skiing directly the first day. We had a fantastic stay, the house is perfect, thanks so much.

Spectacular space. I had 10 guys here for a business/ski outing. Be sure to get a good map with directions to figure out how to ski in. Once you do it once it is an easy ski in/ski out! Thanks so much for an unforgettable trip!

This cabin was everything we expected and more! It gave everyone areas to themselves along with areas we could all be together. The surrounding area has much to offer and it was within driving distance to Yellowstone Park. Everyone enjoyed their stay here. We arrived late at night and they had the lights on to welcome us!! We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the cabin! The location is great. The house itself is wonderful. Everything we needed was there. It felt like we were home. The downstairs bunk room was perfect for the four kids. I look forward to our next visit. Thank you for such a wonderful place! It was perfect for our family.

Beautiful Property! The cabin was better than advertised. This place was clean, beautifully setup, with everything you could ask for in a rental property. The cabin is much larger than you would think. One thing you might consider is the ski out is a little difficult because you have to pull to get down to lift its almost nearly impossible for a snowboarder but you can get drive take a 2 minute drive and be at the base of the mountain and drop off snowboarders there and meet back up with them in no time. Ski in was very easy if you follow the directions! I hope to be back soon!

Very quick responses to all inquiries
I would recommend this property whole heartedly . So big and beautiful and immaculate. The kitchen , the entire house, has everything you could ever need. Well stocked, cozy, felt like " coming home" at the end of each day.

TripAdvisor Review: Great Time! The cabin was perfect! 12 people were perfectly comfortable. Upon arrival, a member of the management team met us at the cabin to go over everything. A few days later, we had a small issue with one of the tubs, I called, and someone was there fixing it within 5 minutes. Kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, glasses, and utensils we needed. They also kept us stocked with plenty of firewood! Beautiful views. The only complaint (if skiing/boarding) was getting to the base of the White Otter lift - very flat. Otherwise, this unit is highly recommend!!

We spent a glorious week here with the whole family...8 people in all, teenagers to adults. The house was perfect...just as advertised and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The property manager was wonderful and even located extra Wii remotes and the game we wanted...great service! We went fishing, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and spent a day in Yellowstone. We saw lots of wildlife. We had beautiful sunshine, with a touch of rain, hail, and even a little snow! I can't recommend this house and location highly enough for an active family getaway!

TripAdvisor Review: big sky vacation rentals is the best- Matt and Annaliese were possibly the nicest, most helpful staff that we have ever encountered while renting a property. We go to Big Sky every year and will definitely stay with them again.

We had wonderful week as a family. The amenities were great, more than we expected. The condo/cabin was clean & well stocked with linens ect. with more than enough supplies in the user friendly kitchen. The surroundings are spectacular,we even had a fox that shared our property. I would highly recommend this great getaway.

Location is ideal. Very convenient for getting to everything. Plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Our only disadvantage was that everything was upstairs. We thought that it would be living area down and bedrooms up. Other than that the place worked out great.

This is the second time we have been to Big Sky from Australia and stayed in the Powder ridge cabins, and yet again everything was perfect. The communication and help by Kirsten and her staff before and during our stay is amazing. We have stayed in cabins 22 and this time cabin 17, other friends stayed in cabins 10, 115 and 27 and everyone agrees great location ski in ski out, great cosy (and clean) cabins with top quality service from all at Big SKy vacation rentals. We were there for the whole month of January and still didn't want to leave. after a great day of skiing it was so nice to come home to a cosy cabin with open wood fire or relax in the spa. The skiing is great with runs for all levels with lots of variety for intermediate and advanced skiers. Both trips we have been in the month of January and had some really great powder days. Also a visit to Yellowstone national park is a must. We plan to be back
