Having spent her whole life in Oregon and northern Washington, Kate moved to the Rockies in search of lighter snow and sunnier days. After a year in Utah, she moved to Big Sky for a job opportunity and only planned to stay for the winter. But winter turned into summer, and one year turned into two, and finally she decided to make Big Sky home indefinitely!
Travel Tip: Don't forget about Yellowstone, even in the winter! The drive is beautiful and you're more likely to see wildlife in the park.
Favorite Big Sky Activity: If your visit falls between June and September, be sure to check out Music in the Mountains on Thursdays for some live music.
