Come to Big Sky and enjoy three nights of professional bull riding and attend the toughest sport on dirt! The Big Sky PBR is part of PBR's True Velocity Tour – a competition series following World Finals consisting of more than 60 events in 27 states across the United States. The Big Sky PBR has been voted Event of the Year multiple years ongoing.

Big Sky PBR's high-octane show is a spectacle to witness, and a treat to experience in Big Sky's intimate arena with one of Mother Nature's best backdrops – the 11,166-foot Lone Mountain.

PBR's 11x Event of the Year, Big Sky PBR, returns for 3 nights of the toughest sport on dirt from July 16th - 18th, 2026, in the Big Sky Events Arena. Forty cowboys will compete for the Big Sky PBR Championship, riding the biggest and baddest bulls in the world.

Friday and Saturday tickets include music afterparties on stage following bull riding feat. Stephen Wilson Jr. and Chancey Williams respectively.

BIG SKY COMMUNITY RODEO

Presented by Yellowstone Club, the Big Sky Rodeo features some of Montana State University's finest up-and-coming rodeo athletes as they entertain with a variety of rodeo disciplines including Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing and Bull Riding.

Mutton bustin' and an additional special feature of 406 Rodeo miniature bucking stock ridden by junior roughstock kids will highlight the evening. Professional PBR and Western sports announcer Matt West will be announcing the event.

Ticketholders can enjoy food and drink options at the venue including food trucks and bar service.

Runners, take your marks— it's time to show what you're made of! The 2nd Annual Running of the Bulls Trail Race returns as part of Big Sky's Biggest Week.

This scenic trail race winds through the heart of Big Sky along dirt paths and single-track terrain. Join us on Sunday, July 12 at the Big Sky Events Arena and choose your challenge: 21K, 11K, or a 5K Relay (teams of three).

In partnership with the Big Sky Community Organization, all races will take place on BSCO's trail system. The race will start and finish at the Big Sky Events Arena, located at 450 Aspen Leaf Drive, Big Sky, MT 59716.

Limited parking is available across the street from the arena, with additional public street parking nearby in Big Sky Town Center.


FREE COMMUNITY DAY & MUTTON BUSTIN'

This year's Community Day & Mutton Bustin' will include an array of family-friendly activities including a petting zoo, carnival games and prizes, food trucks, and sheep riding through the arena for the highest score. We will have spots available starting March 4th.

The 2025 Big Sky Artisan Festival will be held on Saturday, July 19th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Big Sky's Town Center, Len Hill Park. We expect over 90 vendors featuring painting, photography, pottery, jewelry, and other fine handmade products. The festival will also include live music, food and drink vendors, and artist demonstrations
