Getting to Big Sky from the airport
Bozeman and the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is about an hour's drive from Big Sky Resort through the scenic Gallatin River Canyon. Fliers can rent a vehicle from the airport in Bozeman or arrange a shuttle for the journey through the Gallatin Canyon—either way, be sure to arrange transportation early. You won't be sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic making your way up to the mountain, but do keep your eyes out for eagles and the local herds of deer, elk, and Bighorn Sheep.
Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport has seen an 82% increase in passengers over the past five years and welcomed over 2 million visitors last year. With over 40 non-stop flights from over 20 east and west coast destinations, Big Sky Resort is one the most connected mountain resort destinations in the US.
