The host was amazing through the pre-stay and stay process. Great communication and follow up. The home was well appointed, beds and bedding clean and comfortable. Large hot tub, steam shower, and fireplace all appreciated! The kitchen had everything we needed for the gourmet meals we prepared. Ski-out to the bottom or Thunder Wolf is an easy green run for a competent skier/boarder. Ski-in also easy if Low Dog Rd has enough snow. More challenging ski-in via War Dance with enough snow.

MV Leaf Lodge

Our stay at the MV Leaf Lodge was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Came to Big Sky with eight friends, and the house and property were perfect: plenty of space, comfortable rooms and beds, everything well-stocked and well-appointed, & a great location with incredible ski access. In the house, we especially loved the kitchen, large dining room table, & main living room with wood-burning fireplace. Difficult to imagine a better property.

Perfect stay!
We had a group of 9 and the house was perfect! Plenty of space to spread out. Well appointed kitchen with plenty of room for a group to cook. Lots of seating throughout. Location was perfect for our crew since we could all ski out whenever we wanted! We even had a few foxes visit during our stay!

We really liked Leaf Lodge. The kitchen is huge and the bunk room was completely ideal for 4 kids to stay together. We also liked that the main floor was on ground level.

I cannot begin to fathom on how well curated this home is, and how cozy our family was. The location was ideal and everything from top to bottom with all the wood detail and superb architecture, this house is truly special. I would highly recommend to any big families, and we will certainly be looking to stay here again next year.

Great place
Great location and great amenities. Only downside is the hot water heater is undersized for the house. Everything else is amazing with a nice kitchen and plenty of space. Ski out is super easy but ski in is a short ski/ride down the road. Not a problem for adults but a little tricky with small kids.

We had 14 men stay at Leaf Lodge for 5 nights. The house was great and we had a wonderful time. Management fulfilled all of our requests for additional bedding and a few other items we needed. Hot tub was clean and very nice and we had plenty of firewood. Kitchen was well supplied too. Great house

What a family blast!
This house was everything plus more of what I expected. This was definitely a place that everyone had their own place/space to get away, but at the end of the day we gather together to play family games and eat. The grandkids specially enjoyed seeing the wildlife right outside the windows.

Fantastic place
Only negatives: - Hot water seemed to go out quickly so not everyone got hot showers - Ski-in via a ski run is basically impossible unless there is a TON of snow as it is a very steep, very heavily wooded run. Our expert skiers tried multiple times and got lost and said it was too difficult anyway. Ski-in via the road is tough but doable. We were there when snow wasn't great so there was a narrow ski lane that went over driveways that you have to take. Any more days of warm weather and the snow on the driveways would be further melted and getting across was tough - Walking to the village from the house is almost a mile, uphill on an icy 2 lane road - 2 rolls of paper towels was not great However, everything else was awesome and the house was great. We would def stay here again

Love this home!
This is our second stay in Leaf Lodge and it is fabulous! It's a great location at the end of Low Dog Road -- easy ski-out to the Thunderwolf lift or a quick 2-minute drive to the base for the baby skiers. The home is so comfortable and the layout is great for multiple families. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the hot tub is A+. Really enjoyed our stay!

Good experience. Great communication. Property well represented. This home met expectations and was good for our group. Keyless access was great. Kitchen was well-appointed. Linens and beddings were clean and very comfortable. Plenty of firewood stocked in the garage was appreciated. We enjoyed the Leaf Lodge.

Property Manager: BSVR communicates all of the property details and check-in information very well. When we arrived, the home was prepared very well - all additional cleaning items like laundry soap and dishwasher soap was placed in a basket, so we didn't need to search for items. The team also left a very nice loyalty gift for my 2nd rental with them - this was very generous. Property: Great location and very private at the end of a dead end (you don't see any other houses from the property). The ski access is fantastic with easy access to the Thunder Wolf lift and no lift lines to start the day. The home worked well with a large group and it is very beautiful.

I stayed here for a week in Feb 2021 with a group of 10 friends (3 couples, 4 singles) and we had a blast! The perks of this house are too numerous to count -- the location is amazing (2 min drive / 10 min walk to Mountain Village), the ski access is great (ski-in / ski-out off Low Dog trail), and the house itself is unbelievable. The hot tub was clean, HOT and perfect after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, and there is a great grill right outside. We loved the house so much that we ended up cooking at home almost every night during the week instead of going out. I highly recommend this place for a group trip and would gladly go back again! Big Sky Vacation Rentals is the local management company and they were friendly, responsive and helpful. They provided regular updates as we got closer to the trip and they were available throughout the week for minor questions and concerns.

This house is awesome. Probably the best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed at. They also had extras like garbage bags and soap for laundry and dishes. Everything was easy - check in and check out. The fireplace was my favorite !! We had roaring fires every evening after skiing. There were 13 of us and we all fit - there was space for everyone. We also enjoyed all the games provided and had nightly chess games.

Great Location and Home
We stayed for one week with our 4 adult children and had a great experience. The property was in a great location near Big Sky Resort and close to the town of Big Sky and all of the outdoor activities we were looking for.
