This place is truly magical!!! Everything was as described! It was very private at the end of the row the scenery was stunning the cabin was so quaint and had everything we needed! The hot tub was amazing especially at night in the snow! We seen so many animals and the local food was great also! We needed propane for the fire pit and they responded right away and brought another one before we got back to the cabin. We will absolutely be back for another stay and will be sure to tell all of our friends and family about it as well!!

Place is very nice at the end of the group of cabins so was quite private. Plus the first 2 weeks of oct so no other customers were even there.
As others have stated the cabins are much closer together than the pictures appear but again you are at the end so is pretty private.
Saw lots of wildlife right out in front of the porch, and on the roads along the way.
Clean and well equipped.
The only negative for me was this is NOT for people with allergy problems. I still gave 5 stars because it was my own fault for missing the parts about allowing animals to stay there. They also had air fresheners, laundry/fabric softener scents, dishwasher scents, etc. that made me very sick my whole 2nd week there. Again...my own fault but just a tip to others that may have allergy issues.
Hot tub was great as was the view.

This cabin was just perfect for our family vacation. If you love wildlife there is a very friendly fox family. We also seen birds, elk and mule deer herds on the slopes right off the porch. We travelled around the area to the Yellowstone, Cooke City and the Grand Tetons and found the location to be great. Big sky area had a lot of great restaurants and shopping. If you are looking for a real rustic cabin with great views this is it.

The pictures of our cabin were exactly what was posted, but when my family actually saw it for their own eyes, they couldn’t believe it was real, how could we have something this nice. The views were spectacular and all the critters that came to visit us while drinking our morning coffee. Foxy Roxy red fox) was a regular visitor day n night. She was very curious of us creatures. She seemed immune to us. The cabin was amazing, the views were out of this world with the big blue sky, the morning sunrises, full moon that lit up the sky n clouds, the animals and watching a thunderstorm with lightning while still being able to see the moon rise while sitting in the hot tub I think was the most awesome! I stayed up as late as possible the night we had leave for home the next day just enjoy the peacefulness one last time n got one last sunrise pic before we left. It was definitely Cowboy Heaven! I highly recommend this Big Sky rental n the staff was right on with helpful information. 🥰

CH Cabin 15 Rustic

This was our first time in Cowboy Heaven. We absolutely loved it. The cabin, which includes a third lofted bedroom, was perfect for our family of 6. Highlights included the well-stocked kitchen, which included a beautiful double oven with gas range, air fryer, toaster, blender, cooker, and crock pot; comfortable den/family room and plenty of space to spread out at the dining table; and the spacious loft, which gave our kids enough room to really spread out at the end of the day. Being right on Powder Run made it easy to start and end the day and enjoy breaks as needed throughout the day. Big Sky Vacation Rentals makes renting so easy. We always know we will have everything we need--paper towels, laundry and dish detergent, etc--and that you are so responsive to calls and texts. Thank you!

Stunning Location - better than any around it!
This place was absolutely incredible. We were looking for something comfortable and not overly rugged/rustic, but something nice that was still a Montana cabin. This was perfect. Clean, full of all of the amenities. It was more than we could have hoped for. The way this cabin is situated, there are cabins on either side, but this cabin juts out further than the others and feels like you are the only one there. I comfortably stepped out on the porch without being fully clothed and had no concerns about privacy. And the views. Oh. My. Amazing! It can accommodate a larger group or family, but it was also perfect for my wife and I celebrating our anniversary. I really cannot think of a negative regarding this cabin. I've actually sat here at my keyboard and tried. If I really, REALLY force myself to come up with something, I would like to have seen a step between the edge of the porch and the walkway as it is slightly farther down than most steps. Not a big deal unless your arms are full of luggage. But really - if that's all I can come up with, you know you won't go wrong choosing this cabin for your getaway!

My family of 6 was at Big Sky for a ski weekend. We loved this cottage! It was an outstanding location to ski in and out right off the Pony Express lift. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were very nice. We stopped skiing for lunch each day and cooked dinner two evenings. We would stay here again.

From the booking process, to checking in & even answering questions we had while we we were at the property, everything was seamless & so easy. I loved being able to text with any questions we had throughout our stay. We were having issues with the fireplace & it was great to be able to text & have it fixed by the time we came back to the cabin for the night. Also, the directions to the cabin was SO awesome & made getting there so easy. Thank you!  It was everything we hoped for & more. Great location, cute & cozy! This was the best cowboy heaven cabin! The owners and management are very thoughtful about the set up. The stereo, outdoor speakers, layout of the cabin. They really use the space wisely. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. We’d absolutely rent this cabin again!

We took advantage of the hot tub every day. This was our home base for adventures in Yellowstone, which was only an hour away (west entrance). Highly recommend.

Cabin was amazing, fully stocked with anything you could need for cooking and cleaning. Plenty spacious for four adults, and could accommodate more. The resort communicated via text and the check-in/out process was so simple. Beds were very comfy, all appliances and electronics worked great! Zero complaints and we can't wait to return!

Property Manager: We've had the pleasure of doing business with BSVR since 2012 and experiencing their tremendous growth. Kirsten and her team at Big Sky Vacation Rentals are true professionals at what they do. Year after year, BSVR delivers top notch fantastic vacation rentals, outstanding customer service, and a great website allowing you among other things - to tour the over 100 properties they currently manage. If youre looking for a great experience look no further than BSVR. They've earned my trust and will, given the opportunity, yours too! Property: Our group rented, for the second time in 3 years, a cozy Cowboy Heaven cabin directly on the slopes of Powder River. The emphasis is on cozy as there are two bedrooms and a loft which can accommodate up to 6, however, the loft is best left for the kids or a young adult who doesnt mind climbing up and down the ladder to access. While not a lot of elbow room, the location more than makes up for it with ski-in/out access better than one might imagine it should be given 6 stars. Out on the deck or from the hot tub, youll enjoy wonderful views of Moonlight Lodge as well as the runs of Andesite Mountain above the Big Sky Mountain Village. Also, on the deck youll find a picnic table and a gas grill. If you prefer more elbow room or have more than 4 adults you might consider another of the wonderful BSVR properties. If this is the property for you please avoid booking my preferred dates.

Cowboy Heaven Cabin 15 Rustic Ridge
Property Manager: Met with Megan on our arrival, very helpful in explaining the workings of the cabin and such. No complaints Property: Can't go wrong if you are looking for the perfect ski n ski out lodging. Most perfect lodging for a ski n ski out trip. Very nice accommodations, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, washer & dryer, bedding. All we had to do was put on our skis and point them downhill. Could have used a chest or something in the Bedrooms for clothing storage.

Property Manager: John Allen was very quick to respond any time I called during our stay regarding the cabin. Before the trip, all members of the Big Sky Vacation Rental team were very good at answering any questions or concerns. Property: The property was absolutely fantastic!! It looked exactly as the pictures advertised. It was VERY WELL stocked with paper products, spices, plenty of extra towels, lots of pillows and an AWESOME view!!

Property: Your cabin was very comfortable and the view was amazing! We had everything I could think of to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed to make meals. The beds were very comfortable and the linens and pillows were cozy. There were plenty of nice fluffy towels. It was nice to have the dishwasher and washer and dryer available. We really enjoyed the hot tub along with the view of the mountains from it!. We used the grill a couple of times which worked well for our meals. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Property Manager : Elaine was prompt in getting back to me, much appreciated., Property : Wonderful cabin, incredible views, peaceful setting but close to Moonlight Lodge. Relaxing in the hot tub looking at the mountain views was one of the highlights. Biking and hiking trails right out your door. And in the winter, ski in ski out is literally a step off the deck. Great mountain property!

The kids had the loft while the parents each had our own rooms. Very comfy beds and well supplied and stocked with everything you could need. The views were spectacular and loved being on the end of the road!

Property Manager: Team members were fantastic. We asked to change our reservation a few times as we were unsure if we would be bringing a dog. The team was great at adding the dog to our reservation and then removing when a party member changed their mind. The team even credited us the dog fee even though the change to no dog was fairly last minute. Property: The cabin is in a great location (one only a limited few at the slope's edge). The kitchen was amply stocked with what we needed to cook and eat. Having the loft space was fantastic.

Property Manager: The staff made it extra special for our dog Mollee by providing toys which she LOVED!!!! It made us feel very welcome. It was also so convenient to have a fresh sponge and dish soap and laundry packets... that really makes it easy for us! Property: The cabin was amazing and a great location for ski in/out. I love the layout and loft. The appliances are very nice and it had absolutely everything we needed.....and was so clean!

We're usually hotel people so were a little curious how this would go, and it was wonderful. Awesome jumping off point for hikes, easy peasy check-in, great kitchen for making meals, deer and foxes wandering around out front, we even got to hear live music from the lodge below drifting up the mountain. Excited to come back when there's some powder on the ground.

Our stay was wonderful! The beds were extremely comfortable. There were five of us and it was nice to each have our own space for down time. However, the kitchen area was perfect to reconnect with games and spending time together. This home had everything we needed. The view and jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. We loved it here. We are hoping to come back in the winter to ski in and out. Thank you for a relaxing home away from home.

My husband and I stayed in this adorable cabin slope side. Even though the lift wasn’t open yet (due to early season and not enough snow) it was an easy 5 min ride down to the free parking at the base of the mountain. Traveling during COVID can cause anxiety- but this secluded cabin made it worth it and the team put us at ease with easy self check-in and check-out. The cabin was stocked with basics and the full kitchen made it easy to get settled and feel like home. There were snowshoes and we hiked just outside the cabin to get some gorgeous sunset views. Amazing view of the mountain and Lone Peak from the porch as well. Also awesome sound system and super clean hot tub and easy to use grill and romantic fire pit on the porch. We will definitely be back- but likely later in the season next time to get more skiing in.

This cabin is just GREAT in every ways: the view, the location, the inside and outside... The kitchen, the beds... We didn't really used the TVs because we were to busy outside in the snow, or in the Hot Tub or around the fire pit watching the stars at night...
Exactly what we needed for a cozy family Thanksgiving! We had access to a great kitchen with all you need to prepare real family meals... All our family came included our dogs! That was so fun for all of us adults, toddler and dogs! The music outside is definitely a Plus to the full experience in the hot tub. The team that take care of the cabin is nice and they answer phone calls or text messages very quickly and always with the best quality of service!
The house was sparkling clean and they left everything to sanitize... the space if we needed/wanted to. Even our dogs had a little gift on our arrival (a toy).
We will definitely come back next year and maybe before that . We felt like at home directly and we had a lot of fun! the snow is literally outside of the cabin, you can drink your morning coffee looking at the ski lanes and mountains, or drink Bourbon at night watching the stars and magnificent moon around the fire pit after a relaxing time in the hot tub!
Just to write that down, I already want to come back...
If you are thinking of trying it... don't think, just book this cabin!

Great location and great views. Lone mountain seems like a stones throw away from the deck. This was our base camp for going to Yellowstone and had all the amenities we needed. Very nice grill, hot tube and propane fire pit. Closer to other cabins than the pictures show, but this cabin is at the end of the road and feels secluded. We had a very memorable stay

We loved our stay here! The views were absolutely amazing. The house was very clean and comfortable with all the necessities we needed during our stay. Very relaxing
