Situated on an end lot in Moonlight Basin, Big Sky, this home offers privacy, comfort, and, at 2,355 sq ft, loads of well-appointed living space for your whole group. A warm mix of western mountain décor and old warm charm is found throughout the home. The great room is spacious, yet cozy with a crackling wood fireplace and perfectly framed views of the Montana alpenglow over mountains.
Many vacation memories are made around a shared meal and whether you’re dining inside or out, cooking for a group is a breeze. The modern kitchen is fitted with high-end appliances and all the amenities you can think of and an outdoor BBQ grill is perfect for warmer evenings. The wrap-around deck makes for awesome entertaining and fun aprés ski sessions in the hot tub.
Gambler comfortably sleeps 8 in three elegant and beautifully decorated bedrooms and a bonus loft space. Two en-suite king rooms are on the lower level and open onto a patio, with a queen bedroom on the main level. You’ll feel like royalty in the master bedroom, beautifully furnished with a stone-clad fireplace and all the comforts of home. The best way to end a Big Sky day.
Perched on the sunny slopes in Cowboy Heaven, Moonlight Mountain Homes have direct ski access to the Moonlight and Madison Base areas and are a lift ride away from endless Big Sky outdoor activities. Your luxurious mountain home is beautifully secluded yet only a couple minutes from world-class amenities, a ten-minute drive to Big Sky’s hub Mountain Village, and a 45-minute scenic drive to the geological wonders of West Yellowstone.

Adjacent to easily accessible Moonlight Basin ski runs, ski access from your Moonlight Mountain Home is a given and suitable for both snowboarders and skiers. The Moonlight Basin lifts are scheduled open early to mid December with no ski access prior to lift opening.
Ski Out:
There are two options. 1. Step out the front door and go to the right. Walk up the snowbank and cat track to Cinnabar down to 6 Shooter and the Madison Base, or groomed trail over bridge to Iron Horse. 2. Step out the front door and go to the left. At the end of the street hop onto Gambler Trail. This will take you onto Powder River trail down to Iron Horse Lift.

Our stay in the Gambler 1 Property was simply magical! From the huge hot tub (enjoyed with bubbly while lightly snowing) with magnificent mountin views, to the ease of ski in/out, and the icing on the cake - the romantic master bedroom fireplace...we LOVED it! 1 Gambler Drive THE best views!! The house was beautiful, well stocked, comfortable and the hot tub was a great feature. The house sits just below Lone Peak and there were hiking trails near the house. Big Sky town center and Resort are close by and plenty of restaurant choices, hiking trails, bike rentals, ATV rentals. We recommend Blue Moon Bakery, Alberto's Mexican, Corral Bar Steakhouse. Canyon Adventures for ATV Rentals (the Buck Trail had Phenomenal views). Our Favorite
We try to make it back to Big Sky every 4 months or so and this is by far my favorite place to stay. We stayed here after our wedding in June of 2017 and it holds a special place in our hearts! The view is spectacular and the privacy is amazing. Thank you for sharing!

MMMH 1Gambler was a wonderful home to stay in and I would highly recommend it. The furnishings, decor and crockery etc were beautiful. It was well stocked with all the appliances you could imagine. The ski in/ski out was great being just a walk across the road from the front door. We had a few questions on Hoyt to use the appliances and guest services responded promptly and were very helpful.

Our family of 6 had a fabulous stay here despite hitting Montana's coldest Christmas week in 40 years!
The home is even better than the photos... impeccably clean, well-appointed and killer views on a clear day. Beds are super comfortable, hot water was plentiful, and the kitchen is kitted out nicely. The main living space feels roomy and the loft was a great hang-out for the kids so we didn't feel like we were all in each other's pockets when we were trapped inside on the bitterest cold days.
This was our first visit to Big Sky so we weren't sure what to expect, but the location is perfect -- basically ski-in/ski-out access right on an easy, cruise-y run down to the Six Shooter lift and from the top there you can either take blue/green runs down to Mountain Village or head onto black runs. And it's only a 5-10 minute drive to the village or 15-20 minute drive into town -- don't miss Ousel & Spur Pizza there! My experience with Big Sky Vacation Rentals was wonderful. Constant communication with updates during the stay to make sure we had all we needed and quick responses to any questions. I will definitely be using them again in the future. This home was absolutely beautiful with the decor of a true mountain home. The views were breathtaking. Sunrises and sunsets were stunning over the mountaintops. I traveled with my husband, daughter, son in law and two grandsons. The home was well equipped and very clean. It was an excellent hub to all our activities. Icing on the cake was the evening that it snowed. The boys were so excited as we live in Florida and, of course, never get to experience that!

Great experience overall and appreciate the timely response for the appliance issues. We absolutely love the home (it was our second stay) but it was very disappointing to have the refrigerator fail, to constantly be filling up the leaking hot tub, and to have the smoke detectors go off early in the morning. In addition, while the remedy was appreciated, the replacement of all the appliances during our stay was very disruptive when my wife was in the middle of important business calls.

Property Manager: Everyone very professional and helpful. Property: The house was fantastic. We are planning to go back with our grown adult children and their spouses. The 2 downstairs Master Bedrooms were great with King Beds. The main floor has a bedroom with a Queen Bed but the bathroom is not an ensuite bath, but it is right next to bedroom. The loft has moderate privacy a double bed and sitting area with couch and 2 chairs and ensuite bath, they also have some foam mattresses that could sleep some kids. Ideal for 3 couples and 4-6 kids. Property Manager: BSVR does an excellent job of communication in general and letting the guests know exactly what to expect. From what to expect upon arrival, the stay in general, and departure, there were never any unanswered questions. This was my second stay with BSVR and I had 2 issues arise during this stay that I was able to get resolved immediately due to the responsiveness of the BSVR team. Property: Excellent house with plenty of room for a large group. The overall quality are what one would expect from any BSVR property. The kitchen had ample supplies for nearly anything that you would want to prepare. Plenty of room to relax around the fireplace and watch TV. The hot tub was high quality, and the TV entertainment system was connected to the outdoor speakers. Be aware, this unit will require a very short walk with your equipment to get to downhill runs for both the Big Sky and Moonlight base areas, as well as back to the unit at the end of the day.- Daniel , Posted: 10/01/2020

The guy who shoveled our deck each day respected our request to leave our snowmen intact! We also had a booking snafu where we reserved two properties for the same dates by accident and the staff proactively called us to make sure we only wanted one - it was super helpful. Property: Amazing location with gorgeous views of Lone Peak, Fan Mountain and the Spanish Peaks. Modern appliances and very well stocked kitchen (more kitchen utensils, dishes, etc than I have at home!). The master bedroom is amazing with lots of storage and a large bathroom. Other two bedrooms are modestly sized but cozy. Great location, easy check in process, everything we needed was in the kitchen. Only suggestion would be that they consider providing a small cooler. we had to buy a styrofoam one for our trips into yellowstone park, which was fine, but im sure other guests would benefit from it as well.- Rachel C Friendsville , Posted: 10/01/2020

Moonlight Mountain Home 1 Gambler
A million dollar property that is a true ski in/out place! Our party of 9 had plenty of room with all the amenities needed. The house is further up the mountain so a car is needed to hit the town for groceries, drinks, and dinner. This property was wonderful! Truly! Not one complaint. Beautiful and so comfortable. The service of the property management was great and it had everything we needed.
