Beehive Basin Vista features direct ski in / ski out access to Big Sky Resort and 5,850 acres of the biggest skiing in America! Lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. No access until lifts open or after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.
Ski Out:
The home is located on the Alpine Meadows Access. This access is located out the garage door. Once on the trail you proceed left (north) on the Alpine Meadows access which connects to Hideaway and the Madison Base Area.
Ski In:
From the top of the new 8-person lift, follow signs to Powder River. run. Ski through the skier tunnel on the left side of Powder River and ski past the FIRST skier bridge on the right. Take a hard right on Natawista Run (2nd right after the tunnel) and this transitions to Bootlegger Access. DO NOT take the left onto the bridge at the split. Follow Bootlegger and take a left at the sign for Alpine Meadows. Ski over the long skier bridge back to the garage of the unit on the left.

We visited Big Sky with a large family group ranging in ages from one to eighty-something. This house was perfect. Multiple gathering spaces, spacious en suites, fun play rooms, a kitchen ideal for preparing big meals (with a bonus fridge downstairs)—we just had a super week enjoying easy access to the mountain as well as spectacular views from inside. This was a beautiful home in a great location. Pretty views with easy ski in/out. Comfortable bedding and fully stocked kitchen. We cooked for 11 people most nights and had plenty of utensils and dishes. The stovetop was awesome and having 2 full-size fridge/freezers was helpful. Plenty of pantry space. The kids loved the pool table and shuffleboard (more table sand would be nice). The washer and dryer worked great and the provided detergent was sufficient. The hot tub malfunctioned twice, but management rectified the situation quickly. Some hooks by the hot tub would be good for hanging towels and robes. Btw, robes in all bedrooms were appreciated! The TVs worked well with all streaming services for movie nights and march madness games. The puzzles and board games were entertaining. A few decks of cards would be a nice addition. The garage had tons of space for all our boots on the heaters as well as hanging the skis. Amazing Home in Big Sky!
We absolutely loved our stay at Beehive Basin Vista! It is an extremely beautiful and well appointed space. We felt immediately at ease and comfortable right when we walked through the door - The views from the main living are incredible! The kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities we needed and cooking basics. The beds were comfortable and pillows were cozy. After a long day of skiing it was a great place to end the day. And the kids loved the hot tub! For us, the location was ideal. It is nestled in a little neighborhood, with easy access to the downtown area and easy ski in ski out access.
