We absolutely loved our stay at Cardinal Sanctuary! The space was perfect and exactly as described (and looked in pictures). The views were spectacular and there were so many extra amenities (deck space, outdoor fire, grill, hot tub, game room) to make it a truly wonderful stay for our family and friends. We will be back!

Cardinal Sanctuary was a great spot for our group sky vacation. The house was well appointed for cooking meals in if you want, but also very close to restaurants. We enjoyed the amenities including hot tub, sauna, game room and popcorn maker :) Management was very easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions.

Cardinal Sanctuary was the perfect place for our family vacation with 8 adults and 5 grandkids ages 5-1 !!!
Plenty of room for all, well equipped kitchen, parking for 3 vehicles…but we spent most of our time outside on the 2 decks.
Gorgeous views of the mountains with mule deer and red fox as regular visitors. Hot tub was a perfect place to end our adventures each day and the popcorn machine was really a hit with the kiddos😜
Location was a short drive to some great hikes and rivers to try out our fishing skills.
We even made the beautiful 1 hour drive to Yellowstone to add geysers, bison and elk to our list of sightings!!!
Thanks for sharing this special Cardinal place with our Columbus, Texas Cardinal family!!!

The cardinal sanctuary location was a great place for our group to hang out and relax after a day of adventure. Wish we had more time to relax in the home. Views from balcony and hot tub were absolutely fantastic. Overall communication with the company was on point. We had issues with the door code on day 1, but was easily fixed and handled quickly. Received multiple emails and texts before and during stay which helped set expectations and reassured us help was easily accessible. Would definitely book again, but next time would book directly with company vs through Airbnb.

Great stay at Cardinal Sanctuary!! House was perfect for our size group of friends. Check in was seamless, place was clean and ready, pre shipped goods were waiting for us, and all of the amenities made for a fun time at the house. Stunning views of the mountain (and our lines down Gullies!!) from the porch and hot tub. Sunsets over lone peak took our breath away. And while not true “ski-in/ski-out”, easy path up the street (1 min walk) to get to the White Otter lift (5 min walk) made for a perfect location without the extra cost of staying slopeside. Can ski 75% of the path back.

We absolutely LOVED this house and space. The views from the windows are incredible and makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the mountains. We super loved the hot tub and how well kept everything was. The Big Sky rental company was super communicative when there was a maintenance issue. Would definitely recommend this be your home base!

great house for 11 people. There is a lot more development than appears in pics. however, the location to chairlifts and village was great. we used it as a home base for west entrance to Yellowstone. that worked out very well for us. saw elk on the way up the road and easy to get in. check in is at 4pm and the electronic lock won't open until 4pm, so don't plan on getting there earlier than that!

We had a great stay at this property. It was about an hour from the west entrance to Yellowstone. Had a great time with the pool table and hot tub. The only “con” is that there was not a ton of food options in town. It was the off season, so this may be different in the winter. All in all we had an amazing stay, great responsiveness from the management company and I would highly recommend.

Great amenities, a beautiful view, and a friendly and helpful host made this one of our favorite vacation rentals yet. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking needs and we spent at least a few evenings downstairs playing pool or soaking in the hot tub. This cabin is amazing!

Had a wonderfully relaxing holiday with our family in this large log home! Location was perfect on a quiet road with great views of Big Sky Ski Area and Lone Peak. Plenty of space in this home for everyone to find a quiet spot. House was well equipped with everything needed, including board games, pool table etc and a clean and relaxing hot tub on the deck. Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and dishes. The outdoor grill was a great asset to our holiday meals. The fireplace gave us just the ambiance desired on a winter's night. This cabin is amazing! By far one of best vacation rentals I’ve stayed in to date. We had 12 adults with us and it was very spacious. The cabin comes well stocked with tp, laundry and kitchen supplies. We didn’t even use all of the supplies provided. The hot tube and sauna are clutch together on cold days. The view of lone peak is killer. Plenty of
Firewood provided. The kitchen is well stocked with almost any utensil you could need. The location is great. A five minute car ride to mountain village or 10 to Madison base! The ski in and ski out feature takes about 15-20 min each way and is challenging, but doable. I would recommend a car as the area is not built up as other ski towns/resorts. There is a bus route but no stop close to the house. The drive way is small and the house can only accommodate two vehicles. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again

Cardinal Sanctuary was a great home base for our family of 10 to explore the Big Sky/Yellowstone area. We hiked, biked, and fly fished our entire week. The outdoor deck is amazing to hang out on and has beautiful views of Lone Peak. We prepared all our meals ourselves and the kitchen for our needs perfectly. The pool table and hot tub in the basement/outdoor space were perfect way to relax after a long day in the river or on the mountain. We highly recommend Cardinal Sanctuary as home base for your next summer trip to Big Sky

The house was a 3 minute drive from the mountain base. Was great for our large group for sleeping, cooking, sitting, playing games, etc. The hot tub was perfect after a day on the slopes and fit a large group. Multiple fire places & lots of fire wood was great. Pool table and other games. Absolutely loved the place.

This cabin was amazing! The location is great as it is just a 3 minute drive to the main big sky ski area. The cabin itself is stunning. The living room and kitchen area has large windows so you can see the beautiful mountains. There were heaters in each room and firewood provided. Everything was great and I will definitely stay here again.

This home is centrally located between the Big Sky ski slopes and Yellowstone National Park. It can be used for family reunions (sleeps 14) or small weddings on the balcony overlooking the mountain. We were there for spring break and witnessed the first few days of spring and an beautiful snow fall which made the skiers happy. At night we went into Big Sky for some wonderful meals and finished up in the huge covered hot tub looking out on the starry sky. The home's large glass windows look out on the mountain and a small stream where you can often see moose. It has every amenity that you could want including an outdoor gas grill and fire pit. We highly recommend this property and will definitely return.

Fantastic place and location. Every amenity you could want. Great hiking and sightseeing. Only an hour from Yellowstone. Great food. Beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.

We were super happy with this beautiful home. The house was perfectly set up for a group of most any size. We had 10 in our party and had teenage children and younger ones as well. All were very happy with the house and had plenty of room. They really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and spacious. We loved the deck and the view. We enjoyed a day of zip lining and whitewater rafting both within minutes of the cabin. 3 other days we made the trip to Yellowstone to take in all of the parks beauty as well. On our last day we were pleasantly surprised to wake up to moose in the front yard next to the beaver pond. We would love a return visit some day.

This property has it all! Stunning views of Lone Mountain, a meadow, and a beaver pond from both the upper and lower decks. A porch swing, barbecue, outdoor gas fire pit for making s'mores, hot tub, and sauna. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and the beds super comfortable. The bathrooms spacious with beautiful tile work. The house and property have several different areas to play games or visit so you can gather all together or find a place to just be by yourself for a bit if you want to. Plenty of TV's if you just can't resist your favorite show, but we didn't watch any when we were there because there is so much else to do. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking up your favorite meal if you want to eat in. Too warm for us to have one, but there is also indoor fireplaces with all the needed supplies to have a lovely fire inside when it is chilly. We took advantage of several of the local hikes, as well as white water rafting and zip lining. The wildflowers were blooming everywhere, and so many streams and rivers are in the area to enjoy. It was an easy 50 minute drive to Yellowstone-we went two different days and saw most of the park. Bozeman is also not far, and we want to visit some of the cute small towns in the area when we visit next time.

What a beautiful place!! We couldn't have asked for a better 'fit' for our vacation needs... this cabin truly has it all: beautiful kitchen, 2 fireplaces, 2-story deck, sauna, hot tub, pool table, dart board, board games, and a GREAT mountain view!! It is a very short drive (probably 2 min.) to Big Sky Resort. The kitchen is even stocked with some necessities! The kitchen/dining/living room were all open - which is perfect for a large group gathering & meal sharing. We wanted to take our little guys sledding... which there is not a real spot for at the resort... BUT all we had to do was walk out our front door. The cabin is built into the side of a hill/mountain, so we were able to sled right at the cabin. There is also a groomed trail a little ways down the road, that apparently takes you to the mountain for skiing. We had 9 people staying - could easily have accommodated 4-5 more people. There is a loft upstairs with a queen size bed & futon (not a lot of privacy). On the main level there is a master bedroom (w/ king size bed) & it's own bathroom. There is also a 2nd bedroom with a queen size bed & a main bath. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with a queen size bed & a 2nd bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds & there is a separate bathroom (with sauna). WONDERFUL experience - would definitely do it again!!

This cabin truly has it all. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warmth and a home-like atmosphere. All of the furnishings and decorations are well designed to make you feel as comfortable as possible. If that is not enough, the view out of the giant windows or from the huge two story deck will serve to inspire and relax you with every viewing. With the open floor plan of the living room, loft, and kitchen area, the house provides a great gathering space for friends and family to share meals, play games, and simply enjoy each other's company. The location of this cabin can not be beat in the neighborhood. It is extremely close (walkable) to the ski village, but still maintains a wilderness feeling with a large backyard (complete with beaver pond!), and plenty of tree shelter to isolate you from the neighbors. The amenities are also simply perfect. The two-story deck is complete with porch swing, fire pit, foosball table, and hot tub. Indoors there are plenty of comfy beds, an electronic dart board, Wii system, pool table, sauna, and two beautiful fireplaces. Every aspect is well maintained and in good working order. The kitchen is also worth mentioning. Not only is the kitchen are beautiful, but is is fully stocked with every pot, pan, utensil, and kitchen appliance you could need. I am certain you could easily cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner in that kitchen and only have to provide the food! I simply can not wait until my next visit!

This was our second vacation with Big Sky Vacation Rentals and we really appreciate and recommend them highly. They strive to make your every need, want or wish a priority. Our family of 11 gathered for a week in this well appointed cabin for a wedding celebration. It was located close to the wedding site, Huntley Lodge, and offered us lots of fun things to do while in Big Sky. The cabin was described very accurately and had recently remodeled the outside deck, what a wonderful place to relax in the hot tub, enjoy the fire pit or just sit taking in all the beautiful scenery and visits from many wild creatures including a moose that spent the day grazing the field outside the cabin! If you have kids they will love love love the pool table, popcorn machine, dart board, Wii and all the games and puzzles provided. We really loved the fireplace upstairs on those cool crisp mornings in August(yes I said August!) and they had everything(wood, fire starters and lighters) we needed to enjoy them. A small issue for us was the property has multiple set of stairs both inside and outside so we do not recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues or toddlers learning to navigate stairs. So if your coming to Big Sky just pack a bag and everything else is already here!

We spent time at this beautiful property in June of 2014. The new construction at the rear of the house included a large hot tub, 5 foot swing, and fire pit. We enjoyed the fire pit very much on those cool summer evenings!! The morning views from the deck always included wildlife and the naturally flowing water was amazing. We took the short hike to the falls. While driving through the surrounding areas we stopped for many photos of the mountains. The trip to Yellowstone Park made for an awesome day....such natural beauty!! I enjoyed the golf course and even scored a birdie! I hope to play there again on our next visit. We will definitely be visiting this home in the future!! Big Sky Vacation Rentals took care of any needs we had. They even showed us around the house upon our arrival.

We thoroughly enjoyed Sioux Roadhouse 7. The house is very spacious with 2 wonderful decks that look out on a charming pond. The brand new hot tub was a relaxing place to unwind after a trip to Yellowstone or nearby Big Sky. All the people Managing Big Sky rentals were very helpful and friendly. The master bedroom had a fantastic shower with 2 shower heads that felt so good and had a lovely stone background. The downstairs was nice and cool where we played pool and made popcorn in the large old fashioned free standing popcorn maker supplied with buttered popcorn. You can't get much better than this in Big Sky Country!! Try out Lake Lavinsky 1/2 mile away, buy their 5 day Adventure package to paddle board, canoe, kayake, rock climb for $59. Also, check out nearby Ousel Falls, they are beautiful. We ate at the Gallatin River Roadhouse Grill, fun atmosphere and tasty chicken dinner with corn, beans, 3 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, and corn on the cob for $7! Don't miss Yellowstone where there are so many wonderful waterfalls, geysers, and natural wonders. We had a fantastic vacation only heightened by this wonderful house and Lone Mountain view.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful property. It is a clean, well maintained property with a cozy feel and all the amenities one could ask for. We rented two houses for a wedding gathering and Sioux Rd was definitely the favorite of the two. The house is ideally situated for Big Sky skiing as well as West Yellowstone access and is an easy drive from the Bozeman airport. BigSkyVacationRentals management company did absolutely everything imaginable to make our stay easy and comfortable. They met us on arrival, accepted and shipped packages, had snow plowed and were available 24/7 for any issues (although we had none). I only wish they managed properties all over the world!

My mini-family reunion was made unforgettable in Big Sky. We stayed in this well maintained and updated property on our most recent trip to Big Sky and could not have more pleased. There was plenty of room to spread out and just enjoy each others' company. The lower level was a big hit with the popcorn maker, pool table and easy access to the hot tub. We didn't really watch a lot of tv but there are plenty to go around. TV kind of pales in comparison to the drop dead gorgeous view out the back . Big Sky's signature mountain, Lone Peak is perfectly framed for you to enjoy over breakfast. Big Sky Vacation Rental was very helpful in making this trip happen for us. They are true professionals and know what makes for a great vacation. They give great recommendations for activities and will even send 'round a van to pick you up. They are readily available to make reservations, answer questions, or solve a problem. They also provide some the best Chapstick I have run across . I am not a skier , but there is plenty to do in the area without strapping on skis. We enjoyed a sleigh ride dinner at Lone Mountain Ranch. A sleigh ride on a cold, clear January night will make an astronomer out of anybody. For the animal lover in your group,a scenic drive down the road to West Yellowstone will take you to the Grizzly and Wolf Center. They are open year-round and I think, definitely worth a look see. And even if you don't ski, hanging out at the resort is still a lot of fun. I would definitely choose this home again and recommend it to any family, big or small. Can't wait to get back to Big Sky!

My fiancé and I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend at this beautiful home. We had all sorts of exciting plans like taking the short into drive Yellowstone, we talked about checking out the local hiking and thought about taking advantage of all the fun summertime activities in Big Sky buuuuut once we arrived we ended up just sticking around the house! Between reading on the porch (we were even visited by a couple of lady moose one morning!), playing pool & board games, napping and relaxing in the hot tub, our weekend was full. We did venture out for meals, of course. We would highly recommend Bugaboo (breakfast & lunch), Bucks-T4 (steak & potatoes) and Blue Moon Bakery (bagels & pizza)...yummm! We cannot wait for our next visit!!!

Myself and 9 of my skiing buddies rented this house for 4 nights in January. Can't say enough about the house--location is perfect, view of the mountain is amazing, and the property managers are great. Will definitely be renting again if we return to Big Sky.

This home was perfect for my family of 13. We had a wonderful time in Big Sky with so many exciting activities to keep us busy. This house had everything we needed and was well stocked with supplies. The view on Sioux Road was so beautiful. We saw deer every morning from our deck. The setting for #7 Sioux Road was nice and private nestled in the trees. The staff with Big Sky Vacation rentals was so helpful and accommodating ensuring that our vacation was enjoyable. They send lots of information prior to your arrival on activities, restaurants and shops in Big Sky. We will definitely come again.

11 adults had a great time in this beautiful cabin with ample room. The space is perfect and we enjoyed it so much we didn't even bother going out to eat and cooked in each night instead. Pre-ordering food from the grocery store in Belgrade and picking it up on the way was a big time and money savor. The rental management company was very accommodating and we will certainly use them again.
