Off the slopes, you’re just as close. The Mountain Village base area is an easy walk away, with restaurants, shops, and après spots right there, so the car can stay in the garage all week. In summer, that same location puts you minutes from trailheads, mountain biking, and village events, with Yellowstone an easy day trip away.
Back at the house, this three-level, four-bedroom townhome is made for gathering. Floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted beams fill the open living room with light and views of Lone Peak, and the stone wood-burning fireplace, stocked with firewood, is the natural place to warm up after a day on the mountain. The kitchen has stainless appliances, a gas cooktop and wall oven, granite counters, and a Keurig alongside the regular coffee maker. Gather at the dining table for eight or the breakfast bar for four or step out to the deck to grill with mountain views.
When it’s time to soak, head down to the lower patio, where a private hot tub for five to six is waiting, with hot tub towels provided.
The main level holds the primary suite, with a King bed and a private bath with a walk-in shower, plus a half bath for guests. Upstairs, the Queen bedroom and the bedroom with two Twin beds each have a private toilet and sink and share a full bath with a walk-in shower. The upper level also has a loft with a Full sofa sleeper, which works as a quiet reading nook during the day. On the lower level, the bunk room has a Twin over Full bunk and its own full bath with a shower and tub.
Snow removal is handled for you, and check-in is remote. Summers in Big Sky are cool, and the home has fans and no air conditioning, so opening the windows at night keeps it comfortable.

Conveniently located near the foot of the Bear Back Poma Lift, Black Eagle Lodge offers superb ski access suitable for all levels of skiers. Bear Back Poma anticipated open date is early December, but is dependent on snow conditions. The property is not ski-in/out until the Poma opens.
Ski Out:
Step out the garage, go left to connect to the Bear Back Poma. At the top of the Poma you will ski a groomed access run to Ramcharger and Swift Current in the base area.
Ski In:
Intermediate and Expert can ski Silverknife to Bear Back Poma. Follow the Poma down, but don't go all the way to the bottom. You will see ski tracks to the left where people have cut to the left and back towards the units. This will make it easier to get closer to the garage of the unit. Beginners should ski to the Summit Hotel and then ski the road back to the unit.
Note: During periods of melting you may need to walk on the road to and from the Poma lift. (very short walk)
