Enjoyed our week in Powder Ridge 5. Loved the ski in and out ability out the back door. Hot tub and wood burning fireplace were absolutely amazing! Nothing negative about this rental. Suggestion: tighten the master bathroom faucet and wipe the surrounding walls down. The toilet seat was also loose! First world problems tho!!!

Great location. Getting to the lifts requires a bit of flat and uphill skiing but not bad. Getting back to the cabin from the slopes is easy. Nice cabin, we really enjoyed the fire and hot tub. Comfortable beds.

Powder Ridge Log Cabin was a great choice for our stay at Big Sky. For us, it's all about skiing so the easy access to the White Otter Lift and access trail made for a great start and finish to our days on the hill. The place is well stocked with all we needed to cook in each night (our choice) and the space was the perfect size for two couples. The private hot tub was a perfect end to the day and was clean and hot and very well maintained (they refill and sanitize after each guest). We would definitely stay there again.

The site was excellent for a family of 4 staying in a ski in and ski out location. Fireplace and hot tub was great after a day out on the slopes. Does take a little bit of work getting up hill to the close chair lift. Overall, great place.

Walk to the resort area, short drive to some fantastic hikes. Bit longer drive to Yellowstone or other area attractions. This is a wonderful place. Extremely quiet at night, dark enough to see the milky way right outside the front door. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

The cabin was gorgeous! Loved the amazing views! We had two family's stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and had fun hiking around the area. The hot tub was definitely a plus!! The only draw back was that as it is a ski in/out cabin at a resort the other cabins are quite close but the other cabins weren't booked while we were there so it felt like we were all alone. I would love to stay again in the winter to enjoy the ski in/out option.

Cabin was absolutely perfect for 4 adults, and there was space to spare for kids too. Location is great, even if the ski out in the morning is a bit of exercise (flat trail to the lift).

This is a great spot, located a short distance from the feeder lift to the main village. House was clean, hot tub was great and Big Sky Vacation Rentals were very helpful with recommendations (picking up lift tickets and suggesting a great place to go snowmobiling).

Our family (9 people and 1 dog) were traveling cross-country on motorcycles to spend a few days in Yellowstone. This home was one of the few places near Yellowstone that allowed dogs and was an absolute lifesaver! Communication was fast, responsive, and very reliable. I always felt that I could reach out to Big Sky Vacation for anything.
We were traveling with 6 motorcycles and one oversized truck and trailer. Big Sky Vacation was still able to accommodate all of our vehicles. We were worried about riding the bikes to the house since riding on gravel and unpaved roads can be dangerous. Once inside of the ski resort, there were several safer routes that we found to safely make it to our home each night in the dark.
By using the actual coordinates of the house, we had no trouble finding the location on our GPS. Upon arrival, we were easily able to access the house and found a massive welcome binder with an incredible amount of information about the home, nearby sights and activities, as well as contact information and the check-out process. The home was about a 10 minute walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and mini market, which was a lifesaver since we didn't want to cook.
The ride to the West Entrance of Yellowstone took us about 1 hour but was incredible scenic and a beautiful journey in itself.
The value of staying at this home for our group was incredible in comparison to the amount of money we would have spent trying to find a hotel to accommodate all 9 people, 6 motorcycles, 1 large truck and trailer, and 1 bike. The only minor negative experience was when we opened up the sofa bed and found several dead bugs and spiders. Luckily, the house had a wash machine so we just threw in the sheets and they were good as new!
I highly recommend this home to any large group looking that is looking to find a spot that has the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. In the future, we hope to book this home again.

The home was beautiful, well decorated and furnished. Great backyard to the ski lifts (even though it was summer). A fox and deer graced us with their presence in the backyard. The staff's interactions prior to our trip were VERY thorough and accommodating. They greeted us upon arrival and covered all the items we needed to know. And then left us alone throughout our stay. The only challenge is that the home is quite a distance from "town" and most activities during the summer.

Without a doubt, this was the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in- lots of necessary paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins) and even dispensers of shampoo and body wash in the showers!!! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We all loved sitting by the fireplace in a true log cabin setting in the evenings!! The only downside, perhaps, was the 'ski in/ski out' feature- to ski out in the morning involved a bit of a hike to get to the lift.
