The open-concept layout keeps everyone connected, with a six-person dining table positioned beside a picture window overlooking the surrounding forest and two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for relaxed meals and après-ski snacks, while ski storage on the front porch and boot warmers by the entry make getting out the door easy. Step onto the deck to take in views toward the Spanish Peaks, fire up the propane grill, or gather around the picnic table on sunny afternoons. Two guest bedrooms are also located on this level, one with a king bed and the other with a queen.
The lower level offers a separate gathering space with a gas fireplace, large-screen smart TV, and plenty of comfortable seating—a great spot for kids to hang out or for everyone to settle in for a movie. The bunk room includes a full bed and twin-over-twin bunk bed, with the private hot tub just outside on the patio for an evening soak beneath the stars. Upstairs, the primary bedroom enjoys added privacy as the only bedroom on the top level and features a king bed, vaulted ceilings, and a dedicated office area. With parking for two vehicles and easy access to Big Sky’s hiking trails, golf courses, and fly-fishing streams, 9A Red Cloud Loop is a comfortable home base for enjoying the mountains in every season, with Yellowstone National Park also within reach for a memorable day trip.

Ski Access:
Great for both skiers and snowboarders. There is a short flat section that may challenge very young children or snowboarders. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid December, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid April, prior to resort closing. Please inquire for details.
Ski Out:
Put skis on in front of the cabin and cross the road to the access point. Ski the groomed access trail next to the White Otter chairlift. This starts flat and will require skating or poling. Follow this trail along the White Otter chair lift to load. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)
Ski In:
Follow Lower Morningstar to the SECOND set of Powder Ridge signs as indicated on the map. Exit here to skier’s left. Follow the signs towards the White Otter Access. Cross over the White Otter skier access bridge. At the end of the bridge turn right before the large set of trees and then follow until you cross under White Otter Chair lift. Your cabin will be on the right once you cross under the chairlift. Exit the trail after the third group of garages and cross the road back to the front of your cabin. (Green access)
