The main level of the home features two King Bedrooms that share a full bathroom accessed through the hallway. The first King Bedroom boasts a flat screen TV, rustic finishes, and cozy bedding. The second King Bedroom on this level features tons of storage space, modern touches, and sweeping mountain views. The lower level hosts a Queen/Queen bunk bed plus a Twin bed with a Twin trundle. Powder Ridge Cabins are only minutes from Big Sky Mountain Village, the central base of all things Big Sky! A wide range of dining options, vibrant après ski, world-class shopping, year-round activities and events only a few minutes away. A quick jaunt to Moonlight Basin and Lone Mountain or travel the extra distance, only 45 scenic miles to the entrance of West Yellowstone. Located near the Rising Bull access in Powder Ridge and directly on the Chief Gull access trail. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid December, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid April, prior to resort closing. The cabin is not ski-in/out when White Otter Lift is not running. Please inquire for details.
Ski Out:
Enter the trail directly behind your cabin. This is the Buffalo Hide/Chief Gull Access Trail. Carefully ski-down and cross Rose Bud Loop Road and follow Chief Gull Access and cross Rising Bull Road onto Buffalo Hide Access trail. You should see the maintenance building on your right. Follow downhill to the White Otter Lift to load. Exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Resort Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access)
Note: In periods of melting it may be necessary to take skis off to cross the road at Rising Bull
Ski In:
Follow Lower Morningstar to the FIRST set of Powder Ridge signs. Exit here to skier’s left. Follow the Bozeman trail below the Challenger lift. At the first set of signs (Bozeman Trail/Cascade Lift/Rosebud Bridge/White Otter Bridge) you will stay left towards Rosebud Access/Bridge. The next set of signs (Cascade Lift/Little Thunder) stay left. The third set of signs (Cascade 3/White Otter 2/Rosebud Access) stay left. Look for the fourth set of signs (Rising Bull Access/Chief Gull Access/Buffalo Hide Access) and stay to the left toward Chief Gull Access. Just ahead you’ll see the blue Buffalo Hide Access and your cabin will be immediately behind the sign.
