At Big Sky Vacation Rentals peace of mind and guest safety is of utmost importance. The resource guide in the pages and links below are provided to assist you in planning for a vacation in our community. There is no better time to rent a vacation home.  Vacation homes provide social distance from others and allow you to limit interactions outside of your group.

Covid-19 Montana Health Guidelines

We encourage all our guests to review travel guidance from their local health authorities as well as the state of Montana before booking a trip to Big Sky. Visit Montana COVID Travel info can be found here.

Booking and Cancellation Policies

    • All reservations are fully refundable for up to 48 hours after the initial booking date. 
    • If a reservation is cancelled 60 days or more in advance of arrival date the reservation will be refunded in full less $100. 
    • If a reservation is cancelled 59 days or less in advance of arrival date the reservation is non-refundable unless the dates are booked by another party. (see contract for details)
    • If the resort were to close DURING your stay the unused days of the reservation would be refunded or credited towards a future stay.
    • If the resort were to close PRIOR to your arrival date a credit would be issued for the FULL value of the reservation that could be used for up to 12 months from original departure date.
    •  If you are concerned about cancelling because of illness or other unforeseen reasons we STRONGLY suggest adding travel insurance to your reservation.  BSVR can’t refund a reservation due to illness, fear of travel or quarantine rules in your home state.  If you are concerned about an illness please consider adding travel insurance to your reservation.  This can be added at any time prior to making your final payment. 
    • Fear of travel or mandatory quarantine in your home state because of travel is not an refundable cancellation reason.

    Providing an extraordinary guest experience is paramount to an exceptional vacation. Here is how we do that:

    • Prior to your stay your property is thoroughly inspected and important items like heat, hot water, Wi-Fi, TVs, etc. are all checked for proper functionality.  
    • Keyless entry is provided to minimize contact and avoid having to handle keys.
    • Pre-arrival, our website is a great planning resource with guides on restaurants, shopping, groceries, and activities. Should you need any help with your reservation before your arrival, you can reach out to our Reservation Agents at 888-915-2787.
    • An ample supply of basic essential products will be provided (supply basket items).
    • Once in Big Sky we provide guests with a In-House Guest phone line that is answered from 8:30 AM to 7 PM daily for general questions or assistance. You will find a property information sheet in the home with all phone numbers and home information.
    • 24/7 Emergency maintenance is provided for all properties.
