Wonderful ski in and out stay!
Enjoyed our week in Powder Ridge 5. Loved the ski in and out ability out the back door. Hot tub and wood burning fireplace were absolutely amazing! Nothing negative about this rental. Suggestion: tighten the master bathroom faucet and wipe the surrounding walls down. The toilet seat was also loose! First world problems tho!!!

Big Sky Cabin
Great location. Getting to the lifts requires a bit of flat and uphill skiing but not bad. Getting back to the cabin from the slopes is easy. Nice cabin, we really enjoyed the fire and hot tub. Comfortable beds.

Powder Ridge Log Cabin was a great choice for our stay at Big Sky. For us, it's all about skiing so the easy access to the White Otter Lift and access trail made for a great start and finish to our days on the hill. The place is well stocked with all we needed to cook in each night (our choice) and the space was the perfect size for two couples. The private hot tub was a perfect end to the day and was clean and hot and very well maintained (they refill and sanitize after each guest). We would definitely stay there again.

Great experience, appreciated the communication and the ability to include a dog in the house! Great home, though the dishwasher racks need repair. We loved the layout and really enjoyed the hot tub. Probably could use some more plates/forks etc. as there wouldn't be enough if the house was full.

Walk to the resort area, short drive to some fantastic hikes. Bit longer drive to Yellowstone or other area attractions. This is a wonderful place. Extremely quiet at night, dark enough to see the milky way right outside the front door. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

The cabin was gorgeous! Loved the amazing views! We had two family's stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and had fun hiking around the area. The hot tub was definitely a plus!! I would love to stay again in the winter to enjoy the ski in/out option.

The home was beautiful, well decorated and furnished. Great backyard to the ski lifts (even though it was summer). A fox and deer graced us with their presence in the backyard. The staff's interactions prior to our trip were VERY thorough and accommodating. They greeted us upon arrival and covered all the items we needed to know. And then left us alone throughout our stay. The only challenge is that the home is quite a distance from town and most activities during the summer.

This log cabin was amazing!! What a great place to spend a few days in the snow!! Without a doubt, this was the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in- lots of necessary paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins) and even dispensers of shampoo and body wash in the showers!!! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We all loved sitting by the fireplace in a true log cabin setting in the evenings!! The only downside, perhaps, was the 'ski in/ski out' feature- to ski out in the morning involved a bit of a hike to get to the lift.

Property: Our family (9 people and 1 dog) were traveling cross-country on motorcycles to spend a few days in Yellowstone. This home was one of the few places near Yellowstone that allowed dogs and was an absolute lifesaver! Communication was fast, responsive, and very reliable. I always felt that I could reach out to Big Sky Vacation for anything. We were traveling with 6 motorcycles and one oversized truck and trailer. Big Sky Vacation was still able to accommodate all of our vehicles. We were worried about riding the bikes to the house since riding on gravel and unpaved roads can be dangerous. Once inside of the ski resort, there were several safer routes that we found to safely make it to our home each night in the dark. By using the actual coordinates of the house, we had no trouble finding the location on our GPS. Upon arrival, we were easily able to access the house and found a massive welcome binder with an incredible amount of information about the home, nearby sights and activities, as well as contact information and the check-out process. The home was about a 10 minute walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and mini market, which was a lifesaver since we didn't want to cook. The ride to the West Entrance of Yellowstone took us about 1 hour but was incredible scenic and a beautiful journey in itself. The value of staying at this home for our group was incredible in comparison to the amount of money we would have spent trying to find a hotel to accommodate all 9 people, 6 motorcycles, 1 large truck and trailer, and 1 bike. I highly recommend this home to any large group looking that is looking to find a spot that has the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. In the future, we hope to book this home again

Property: I wanted to personally thank you both for putting together such a great company from which we rented one of the cabins on Powder Ridge (no 5) and have already reserved it again next year from 9/6 thru 9/15. Thanks to such great folks as Elaine and Kris, we had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfectly apportioned, quite clean, organized, very comfortable and relaxing. My wife and I are both self-employed, work too much and we really had only planned to do nothing! This cabin offered such a fabulous place to rest, calm down and enjoy the view. It was amazingly quiet for all the construction occurring at the resort. We were in walking distance or only a short drive to a good grocery store, restaurants and a few of the activities that we did at the town center. Elaine made the rental process so simple and her communication was excellent! Being a project manager in my business, communication is a big thing for me and she was right on with every question we had prior to arrival and even up to the day we got there. The rental agreement, the payment process and the insurance was so quick and no issues. We found the cabin with no problem, got in and everything was better than we had imagined - and we have some great imaginations!! Kris came by and welcomed us in the morning of our first day. Not only did she help us with a few small issues, but she was truly lovely to talk to about the whole resort area - quite informed and helped us to plan a few things right from the start better than what we had anticipated. She explained the general workings of the cabin, your company, the resort, local restaurant recommendations (of which they were all to die for!!), some things to do, things to look out for, etc. She is the perfect person for what she does! Thanks again for providing this wonderful experience. We can't wait to get back there next year! I hope you will share this 'thank you' with Kris and Elaine. You folks offer a fine service and we hope to keep renting from you for many years to come. Keep up the great work!!!! Thanks again!

Property: FANTASTIC!!!! We had an incredible time. The snow and skiing at Big Sky were perfect despite being late in the season. Even had a few powder days this late at the end of March. But enough about the skiing . . . . The cabin was so comfortable and convenient to the mountain. It was the perfect place to light a fire and relax after rigorous day on the slopes. The living room was comfortable with a great fireplace. Love the wicker moose! The bedrooms were spacious yet cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped. We made breakfast daily, prepared lunch for the mountain and made dinner several nights. Our girls and their friends loved the hot tub out back. The washer/dryer came in pretty handy as well. A few other things: -The check-in/out process was super easy. There was a binder with all sorts of information. A representative from the rental company arrived about 45min after we entered the cabin (they are alerted by text after you enter)) to review all the need-to-knows. -A friend and I skied in a few times but we did not ski out because of our girls. Found it easier to set up shop over at the base lodges. This required a 30 second drive over to the main base each day and then parking. Honestly we could've walked but with 2 little girls and a bit of stuff driving was easier. Either way, incredibly easy. -The house comes equipped with all required paper products, soaps, detergents etc. We grabbed some groceries from Roxy's market down in the meadow (about a 20min drive). There are a couple of smaller markets at the base that we used a couple of times. Overall, we loved the cabin and Big Sky! Hope to get back there soon.

Property Manager: From the moment I called Big Sky Vacation Rentals to see if you had availability for a quick ski trip at the end of March (I didn't call until early Feb), I was treated by Elaine and others on the staff as the most important. They spent time with me to find a rental with availability and that would also accommodate my puppy! I was treated so amazingly well. Then, when I realized I forgot a laptop charger, Elaine kindly looked for one in the office! We were ultimately not successful, but she went above and beyond! Property: I would stay at Moose Ridge 5 all day. It was perfectly sized, very well appointed, and accommodated our small family, but still large enough for another family to join us if we so desired. Big Sky Vacation Rentals is top notch - very responsive and helpful. I relaxed for the first time all year. Thanks for making our spring break trip amazing!

The entrance to the cabin was always accessible due to their prompt maitenence as well and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wonderful location
Walk to the resort area, short drive to some fantastic hikes. Bit longer drive to Yellowstone or other area attractions. This is a wonderful place. Extremely quiet at night, dark enough to see the milky way right outside the front door. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

Great mountain escape!
The cabin was gorgeous! Loved the amazing views! We had two family's stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and had fun hiking around the area. The hot tub was definitely a plus!! The only draw back was that as it is a ski in/out cabin at a resort the other cabins are quite close but the other cabins weren't booked while we were there so it felt like we were all alone. I would love to stay again in the winter to enjoy the ski in/out option.

Cabin was absolutely perfect for 4 adults, and there was space to spare for kids too. Location is great, even if the ski out in the morning is a bit of exercise (flat trail to the lift).

Our family (9 people and 1 dog) were traveling cross-country on motorcycles to spend a few days in Yellowstone. This home was one of the few places near Yellowstone that allowed dogs and was an absolute lifesaver! Communication was fast, responsive, and very reliable. I always felt that I could reach out to Big Sky Vacation for anything.
We were traveling with 6 motorcycles and one oversized truck and trailer. Big Sky Vacation was still able to accommodate all of our vehicles. We were worried about riding the bikes to the house since riding on gravel and unpaved roads can be dangerous. Once inside of the ski resort, there were several safer routes that we found to safely make it to our home each night in the dark.
By using the actual coordinates of the house, we had no trouble finding the location on our GPS. Upon arrival, we were easily able to access the house and found a massive welcome binder with an incredible amount of information about the home, nearby sights and activities, as well as contact information and the check-out process. The home was about a 10 minute walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and mini market, which was a lifesaver since we didn't want to cook.
The ride to the West Entrance of Yellowstone took us about 1 hour but was incredible scenic and a beautiful journey in itself.
The value of staying at this home for our group was incredible in comparison to the amount of money we would have spent trying to find a hotel to accommodate all 9 people, 6 motorcycles, 1 large truck and trailer, and 1 bike. The only minor negative experience was when we opened up the sofa bed and found several dead bugs and spiders. Luckily, the house had a wash machine so we just threw in the sheets and they were good as new!
I highly recommend this home to any large group looking that is looking to find a spot that has the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. In the future, we hope to book this home again.

Excellent Home
The home was beautiful, well decorated and furnished. Great backyard to the ski lifts (even though it was summer). A fox and deer graced us with their presence in the backyard. The staff's interactions prior to our trip were VERY thorough and accommodating. They greeted us upon arrival and covered all the items we needed to know. And then left us alone throughout our stay. The only challenge is that the home is quite a distance from "town" and most activities during the summer.

a beautiful cabin in the snow
This log cabin was amazing!! What a great place to spend a few days in the snow!! Without a doubt, this was the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in- lots of necessary paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins) and even dispensers of shampoo and body wash in the showers!!! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We all loved sitting by the fireplace in a true log cabin setting in the evenings!! The only downside, perhaps, was the 'ski in/ski out' feature- to ski out in the morning involved a bit of a hike to get to the lift.
