Black Eagle 29

We had a great stay at this ski chalet. It was comfortable, well set up, and in a very convenient location. One of the best things was the accessibility. Even when the nearby ski lift was closed, it was an easy walk to the slopes. Food and shopping was walkable at the village and it was an easy drive in and out to the main shopping area of Big Sky. Big Sky town center was close by and had plenty of shops and good options for food, which made everything very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Great place at Big Sky
This condo was exactly what we were looking for. It is situated with easy access to the Poma lift or you can walk up fairly quickly to the main base area. Getting back you can go down Silver Knife or walk back. The condo was very nice with everything we needed. The shuffle board table was a definite plus and got a lot of use. We really enjoyed our stay. This is a great condo.

Black Eagle 29

This is our second visit to Big Sky and first time at Black Eagle 29. We loved the property! Our family of 6 stayed and it was a great location --easy walk to shops for the teens. Ski out is at a T lift that you can ski down road to. Drop of is a 2 min. drive. Ski in options are a Blue run back to house (a difficult blue) or ski in from village center on road to house for those not wanting to tackle a blue. The house was well appointed and VERY CLEAN with good linens, pillows and toiletries. Beds were comfortable with lots of extra blankets and pillows. The kitchen was minimally stocked with pantry items (some rentals have sugar, flour, spices, etc and others don't). Good selection of pots and pans if you want to cook. Plenty of TP, paper towels, laundry pods were provided. Layout was nice with large great room and we had plenty of seating to hang out and watch movies. The hot tub was perfect and the table shuffleboard was a hit! There was a ping pong table and video games but the kids love the shuffleboard so we didn't play those. The different floors gave everyone their privacy and we would stay again and recommend to others.

Modern Clean Cozy Stay
This was our second visit to Big Sky for our family of 6. Our kids are older and this place was great to give everyone their space but enough room to gather together in large living space. Home was well very clean with great beds, linens and lots of pillows and blankets. We appreacaited the humidofirs in every bedroom and used them each night, Living space was exactly what we needed to lounge after a day on slopes to watch movies but the real winner was the shuffleboard table. Tournaments every night keep everyone occupied! Smart TV allowed us to login Netflix and Amazon to watch movies. Used hot tub on porch every night. Kitchen was large and stocked with cooking supplies. We did not really cook but enjoyed eating out every night. Last year we did the sleigh ride at Lone Mountain which was fantastic and this year we did the yurt dinner. Recommend both as an experience but sit on top of the cat to get full experience. Ski out was a T bar lift and about a 5 min. walk. Ski in was a difficult blue or a quick ski from the base along the road. It is a 2 min drive to drop off party if needed. Kids walked to resort base village some nights -- 5 min. walk. Great communication from hosts and highly recommend this location.

PERFECTION
Black Eagle 29 has everything you could ever want in a ski home, plus all the things you didn’t realize you would need! The bedrooms are all beautiful and spacious, the kitchen is clean and fully-stocked, and the great room has plenty of comfortable seating and leads to a deck with spectacular views, a grill, and hot tub (perfect after a full day of skiing)! You can’t beat the location - not only do you have the option to ski in/out, there are great shops and restaurants at the base of the mountain. A short drive or shuttle ride takes you to Town Center where you can find everything from groceries to ice skating to fun Big Sky souvenirs.

We stayed at 29 Black Eagle over the Christmas/New Year's holiday. We were immediately impressed by the spacious and modernized interior, featuring new high end furnishing and very cool decor features (including a mudroom blanketed by canvas photographs from different ski areas around the world). For our family of five, the house was extremely spacious--the nearly 3,000 sq feet of interior space noted in the listing is both accurate and smartly spread over three floors. With bedrooms and entertainment spaces on every floor, the house could easily and enjoyably host two families for an extended stay (including a beautiful 10 seat dining table). The kitchen is stocked and, like the rest of the house, everything is new. There are multiple entertainment spaces. The large family room/great room has beautiful Spanish Peaks views and loads of natural light throughout the day, and it was the spot where we all comfortably gathered for family movie night and board games. There were also two additional entertainment rooms for the kids to branch off (entertainment loft above and bunk room below that has a large flat screen and xbox). Having stayed all over Big Sky, we can honestly say that the ski access here was fantastic--we popped our skis on at the garage, skied down to the Poma and within 3 minutes we were at the base of the mountain. Super convenient to ski in/out for lunch, which was a bonus during Covid. High powered boot dryers in the mudroom, hot tub and grill on the deck, gas fireplace, and shuffle and ping pong tables were all well appreciated by our family. In short, this place has it all and we will be back! Big Sky Vacation Rentals was a pleasure to work with.

Overall, the experience with Big Sky Vacation Rentals was positive. The property was clean when we arrived and well stocked with items needed for our stay.The property itself was fantastic. It had beautiful views of the Spanish Peaks from the living room, a lot of sun light, a well-maintained deck/driveway/street that was free of snow and a gorgeous interior with new and well-thought-out furnishings, including a private outdoor hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cookware and basic cooking spices. Humidifiers were provided in each of the bedrooms and boot/glove dryers were located in the downstairs mud-room area off of the garage - the owners really thought everything through. We visited the property during ski season and one of our favorite features was the ski-in/ski-out access we literally put our skis on outside the garage and were able to ski down to the Poma ski lift and were able to ski back to the front steps as well.

Wonderful property and great area for a family vacation.
Rented this beautiful/clean property for a week’s vacation with our family. Everything was great- close to Yellowstone and Bozeman, with activities in both areas.
