The home was amazing and gave us ample space to sleep and to congregate during our ski trip. The house offered more than we even expected and made it the perfect place for apres ski and group dinners. Great location, although not walkable, it was a 3-5 minute drive to the resort.

In our 21st year of skiing the western U.S., this may have been the best of all the houses we have rented. Good layout, kitchen well-stocked (you could tell that the owners actually use the place), everything in good working order. And the best view in the area.

Amazing house with attention to every detail. Owners go above and beyond with special touches like a box of local goodies to enjoy while there. The porch fireplace was our favorite place to be with plenty of wood provided for us. The artwork throughout the house was beautiful and I noticed it was signed by the owners! I would highly recommend to anyone.

SV Buckaroo Ridge

Best vacation ever! Buckaroo Ridge was a pure delight. Can’t say enough good things about it. The owners, Mark and Jill, designed and decorated with such style. There was everything right there in their home. Jill’s artwork was amazing. I wanted to take it home with me. The property managers were awesome with their directions, instructions, and texts. Location is the best. We stayed busy with awesome activities , but still got to enjoy the home. Views are spectacular. We saw deer, elk, a neighborhood friendly fox, birds, squirrels/chipmunks. Hot tub was used and loved by all. We were a group of 13 with ages starting at 10 yrs to 70+ years. It was a 50th Anniversary Celebration and everyone had a great time. Adventure Mountain, Ousel Falls hike, Lake Levinsky with water kayaks, tubes, paddleboards and more. Never bored. Music in the Mountains and Farmers Market so fun. This house will not disappoint. Thank you Mark and Jill, and Big Sky resort. You have clearly outdone yourselves.

Buckaroo Ridge was a wonderful family vacation for 13 of us, 3 generations, in our family. The view is spectacular and the house has more amenities than they listed. Lighted Christmas trees right outside the house came on at night, and plush towels were left beside the hot tub for us to use. The bedding was wonderful as were the linens and towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We are from Alabama and it was our first trip to Big Sky. We did fly fishing, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding. So fun!!! Thank you for a family memory that we will enjoy forever!

This is the WOW factor house. From the location, to the en-suite bedrooms, the chic light fixtures, the view and all the upscale amenities in the kitchen (air fryer was awesome) to the spa bodyology products in each bathroom, and the Buckaroo Ridge luxury robes for all guests! We were treated as kings. The property management team was quick to respond to our needs. The wildlife around the house was plentiful. We had 13 in our party and never felt crowded. Buckaroo Bliss
Fantastic property. Hottub with fantastic view. 4 big rooms with ensuites. One multi barracks :) type room with 4 bunkies that gets a little cold. Great kitchen with all amenities. Managers quick on the text with help. 1 mile to base of hill so we rented an SUV and valet parked at the Summit hotel. Buy your food/wine in Bozeman as Big Sky grocery rather exploitative. Had a fantastic week thank you and adored the friendly fox!

We had 8 adults and 4 children aged 9-1 years old. The cabin was perfect as each couple had their own bathroom. The bunk room was perfect for the grandkids. With 3 levels there was more than enough room for 4 families. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen of any rental we have stayed in. If you want to experience a truly magnificent home, stay at Buckaroo Ridge. This property will ruin you as no other home will meet your expectations after staying at Buckaroo Ridge.

Beautiful house nestled in the woods with a spectacular view of Big Sky mountain range. Loved every minute we spent in this house. It was only 7 minutes by car to the ski resort (base camp). The driveway was plowed after heavy snow storm. Highly recommend for a big group. We were a group of 10 and were super comfortable.

Family Ski Trip
We have a large 3 generation family that loves to spend time together and loves to ski. This house provided a comfortable way to accomplish both. The house has ample room for all of us to be together with a large kitchen, cozy beds, enough bathrooms, as well as the opportunity to play pool or relax in the hot tub or on the deck at the firetable. Whatever we were doing at the house, the awesome view of Lone Peak was right in front of us. We had an easy time keeping our skis and boots at the house, and the short drive down to the Big Sky base was not inconvenient. The ski resort provides easy parking with a short shuttle ride, and even a quick drop off point if needed. We felt like the managers of the house were friends with easy communication back and forth and that the owners of the house love it and wanted us to love it also, which we did. It was such a great week, a vacation to remember.

Didn’t want to leave
What an amazing home to stay in for our first time to Big Sky. We brought our three children and two grandchildren and everyone loved it. Would definitely go back. Seems like they thought of everything in the house. Loved that they left a few basic items to use, like coffee liners, salt and pepper, etc. I really dislike having to buy those things that you need but have to throw away when you leave and don’t use it all.

We booked Buckaroo Ridge SV almost 2 years ago for this planned family trip. Our guest total was supposed to be 17 people. As time went on, life happens and half of our family could not make. Nevertheless, we decided to carry on with our family trip. This place was ANAZING! I must say the pictures did not do it justice and the pics were gorgeous! It was peaceful, plenty of living space where you are not on top of each other. It definitely was my happy place and i got much needed rest and relaxation. We did not want to leave. Highlight moments: the fox visited us daily, we saw lots of wildlife, Ousel Falls very beautiful (only about 4 miles down the road) and Yellowstone National Park a short distance away. The amenities are pretty much everything you need. Although i could not find coffee filters, I texted them to see if they were placed in a specific area, they were very responsive and said if they were not found they would bring me some right away. The staff are great!

Hello! We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home, everything was just spectacular! Here are some a few things we did notice that I think would help future customers a lot. Maybe a light in the address number, we got in late and we’re unable to see the numbers in the dark. Also, in the description it said there was no TVs, but there was a TV in every room. That made a huge difference and we loved it. Besides, that our experience there was amazing, we are so glad to have been able to share amazing memories with our family there. We loved it so much and are planning on returning in the summer. thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home in Big Sky. It was comfortable and beautifully appointed. The view was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped for our group of six who cook nightly. The rooms were comfortable although we could have benefitted from air conditioning during the heat wave.

The home was as beautiful or more so than the pictures. The view was breathtaking, the house was spacious and easily accommodated our family of 15. The location was ideal to access Big Sky Resort. Everything you need is waiting for you. Bozeman and the West Yellowstone entrance are about an hour drive. Upon arrival at the airport and before proceeding to the house would recommend stopping at Costco or Albertson's grocery store to stock up on food since both are located just off the highway. This ranked among the top 3 of our annual summer family vacations.

80th birthday celebration
We traveled to Big Sky to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. Our party consisted of 4 married couples and 9 additional family members, including 7 cousins ranging in age from 13-24. The 4 king beds and bunk room was perfect for our group. The view from the house and deck was unbeatable. The kitchen was better stocked than any house I have ever rented. The grill was utilized for three meals and worked well. We utilized the outdoor wood burning fireplace as well as the hot tub. The television looked great, but we never even turned it on. We spent 2 days in Yellowstone, went whitewater rafting, and hiked the Lava Lake trail. One member of our party fished in the Gallatin and one went golfing. We only scratched the surface of the local activities available. I would highly recommend this house for a large family gathering and wouldn't hesitate to book it again myself in the future.

Property was amazing. We have stayed two years in a row at Buckaroo Ridge and we are so thankful to owners to share it with us to make memories with our family. Big Sky Rentals was incredibly informative, communicative and accessible and responsive as usual. The property did not appear to be as clean or as buttoned up supply wise overall as our experience last year which was a disappointment, but Big Sky Rentals was quick to respond. It almost seemed like the employment shortage hurt the property’s overall readiness.

Location, view, privacy, quality of construction and thoughtful appointments. The amount of time that went into creating this incredible home I can’t imagine. The kitchen was done so well, top quality everything. The hot tub overlooking the mountains, outdoor furniture and stylish comfort exceeded our expeditions. The Best of Big Sky
Buckaroo Ridge was an absolutely gorgeous home for our family of 17. We spent Thanksgiving in this fabulous house with spectacular views in an exceptionally appointed home. The staff was responsive and the listing was accurate (but the house had more than we even expected). We truly loved every moment in this fantastic property. There is a den on the main floor with a pullout couch that we used as a bed. Turning this room into another bedroom would be ideal and a bit more comfortable for larger families or groups. It’s close to skiing, downtown, restaurants and groceries yet is private, quiet and secluded from crowds. I strongly recommend this property!!

Great House!
This was an amazing stay. The house was just as listed and plenty of room for 4 families with kids ranging from 2 to 17! Definitely a place to stay if your going to be in Big Sky- it definitely had the best view in town! And a friendly little fox that visited daily that the kids enjoyed watching from inside!

Majestic Mountain Oasis
Words cannot describe the sheer beauty of this place! The owners planned out every single detail to make sure our time as a family was full of memories. It feels like home and the views! There are no words to describe the views! The only words that we can say is Thank you and that isn't enough. The foxes were an added blessing each day and we got beautiful snow and the kids got to go sledding . The town itself was amazing and quaint. We loved every single second here. Please don't hesitate to book this magical place for your next vacation destination. Trust us....Buckaroo Ridge in Big Sky will not disappoint.

Property Manager: BSVR was made our stay so enjoyable and was very responsive to every question or request we made. They are a very professional organization with courteous and capable staff. Property: Buckaroo Ridge was the perfect house for our family of 12 (ages ranging 14 to 80). The house was very well designed, clean, and stocked with about everything we could need. The sleeping arrangements were more than adequate and great room was very comfortable for all of us without feeling cramped. Double washer/dryer was very convenient and allowed us all to pack a little lighter knowing we could easily get laundry done. We were a little concerned about having to drive to the slopes every day to ski, but the house is located so close to base, it was really no problem. We would definitely stay here again.

Property Manager: Couldn't ask for a better experience in planning our vacation. Property: Our stay at Buckaroo was magnificent. The accommodations are top notch and we didn't want for anything.. Between the hot tub, firepits and rockers on the porches, we couldn't have been more relaxed. Walking into the home, we felt like we lived there. It was so homey and comfortable. The Views cannot be described. Totally spectacular. We will definitaly be returning for another wonderful time in Big Sky and Buccaroo Ridge!

Property Manager: The leasing agency sent emails with every detail covered. They kept in communication with us once we landed in Bozeman, with directions to Big Sky, and entry details. Made our trip a breeze. Property: If you are looking for a home with the amenities to accommodate a large group, with views that will take your breath away, we highly recommend Buckaroo Ridge. One of the most relaxing trips weve taken in a long time. We enjoyed eating in and out, Yellowstone, and Bozeman, and then relaxing and watching the snow.

We really loved our time here. The property was fantastic and in a very good location. We had easy access to hiking trails (you can walk to Beehive Basin if you are in good shape), fishing (both the Madison River and the Gallatin are about 30-45 min away), and the Big Sky Resort shops and activities (walkable). Town center Big Sky requires a car but is only a 10 minute drive down the mountain. The lodge was very clean and had fantastic design and touches that made it feel very unique. Each room was well done and plenty of space to spread out. I wish they had a small beverage fridge upstairs in the loft with the pool table but that is really my only complaint. Two full W&Ds, boot drying rack for skiing or fishing, lots of little things to make the stay so easy and fun. Thanks very much!

I am, however, sorry to hear that the issue with the oven caused so much inconvenience for you and you felt we didn't respond. Unfortunately, as I mentioned when we spoke, this range has been deemed "a Lemon" and is in the process of being replaced and loaner appliances were delivered in the interim.
