Step into the space and be greeted by soaring vaulted ceilings and large panoramic windows that showcase spectacular mountain vistas and fill the space with tons of natural light. The living area features plush seating, large flat screen TV, and a gas fireplace, the ideal spot to cozy up after a day full of adventure. The heart of the home is the gourmet kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, wine fridge, and a dining table designed to easily seat eight with seating for four more at the breakfast bar. Whether you’re prepping a multi‑course feast or enjoying a casual brunch, this kitchen has all the amenities the chef in your group will need to whip up something fantastic! Adjacent to the dining area you’ll discover a cozy alcove, ideal for a pre‑dinner glass of wine or a morning cup of coffee. Step outside and find a large wrap around deck with outdoor seating options and a private bubbling hot tub. Outdoors you’ll also find a propane grill, a crackling fire pit, and a seasonal fun horseshoe pit.
Ready to rest easy? On the main level find the Primary King Suite complete with its own ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, find two more bedrooms, one with a King bed and one with a Queen bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom accessed through the hallway. Also upstairs find the multi-use loft, this area hosts board games, books, and a private office space, the perfect spot for remote work. Head down to the lower level and find another lounge space with a flat screen TV and an ensuite bedroom with a Queen bed, two Twin beds, and two additional Twin trundle beds.

Ski accessible and best for intermediate and expert skiers. The ski-in and out is long and utilize several groomed real estate trails and access lifts, poling and skating is required. Detailed ski-in/ski-out instructions below:

Ski In:
Exit left off of White Otter lift, and take the rope tow to Cascade Lift. At top of Cascade Lift, climb stairs, turn left and follow trail about 500yds along Beehive Basin road. Detailed directions at home and on the map link. **NOTE: The rope tow is currently inoperable and will require you to walk the distance between White Otter and Cascade lifts.
Ski Out:
Swift Bear Rd 75 yds past first house.
Follow trail downhill, through tunnel to White Otter
Exit left off of White Otter lift, and take immediate first right cat track to Mountain Village

MVC Bear`s Lair
Great! Perfect for our family ski trip! Brother had issues with the code to the door at check in. I believe we were given the wrong code. My brother also backed off the driveway/culvert and had to call a tow truck. Recommend you put up markers by the entrance/exit. Definitely needed 4*4 vehicle.

Property Manager: When we had an issue getting into the house (because we were trying to get in a little before the 4pm check-in) I was quickly able to get ahold of someone through the provided number. The lady was very friendly and was able to resolve our issue within minutes which made for a very welcoming experience. Property Manager: The team is always available and has plenty of information to reference for anything needed. At our house rental we had the option to have someone stop by to talk about area and if we had any questions so we opted in. She gave us all sorts of info about the mountain and recommendations in the area. Property: The MVC Bears Lair was a wonderful house for a group. It is fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans and we cooked all of our meals there. Everyone loved the boot warmers in the bottom level. Having the separate open room across from the garage with all the cubbies and hooks for gear is so helpful. Some people did the ski in and out (the group vote is that it is easier for skiers than boarders). Since we had a few rental cars we drove a lot too which is easy since it is minutes away to get to free parking and there are shuttles (open air trailer style) that roll around to drop you between parking and the mountain base. We were very cozy and had a blast! Also the view from the living room in the front of the house could not be more spectacular-it is all windows and the mountain is front and center.- Kara , Posted: 10/01/2020

Perfect location with easy access to Big Sky Mountain. Overall, we were very happy with the property and management team who were very helpful. Property Manager: Absolutely wonderful! Property: The view is simply spectacular. We had everything we could have possibly needed to accommodate a family of 11, 8 adults (children and cousins) ranging in age from 27-31, and 3 seniors. :) Plenty of room for everyone, although we tended to hang out in the living/dining area because the view was so majestic. We cooked dinners, played games, sat outside, skied everyday, enjoyed the hot tub ( with yet another lovely view of the mountain). The home was warm and cozy.
