I rented this home for eight of my husband‘s best friends to celebrate his 40th birthday party. There were enough beds for every single adult to have their own bed, the roaring fireplace was amazing, the hot tub outside was the perfect corner location to take the views and watch the lifts. The extra refrigerator in the basement and in the garage where a nice touch. We didn’t have one complaint!

Exceeded our expectations. Spacious and secluded, we had a truly wonderful time at Big Sky, the rental made it perfect. One nit pick though: Bring your own bath soap shampoo etc, the tiny soap bar and tiny bottles will not last a day let alone a week. Otherwise excellent rental, for our future big sky needs will look at this place again. Thanks

My family of 10 had a wonderful stay at PR Oglala 9! The house is the perfect size with enough beds and privacy for a large group plus a nice living room and basement that the everyone could gather in. The kids loved the bunk beds and pool table! The house is clean with all the amenities you can think of. Working with Big Sky Vacation Rentals was very easy and professional. We had a question on the hot tub that they answered right away & even delivered a package I had sent to them for me on a holiday (Fourth of July). We had a fox come up to the back deck every evening which was cool for us to see! You need a car to get around - it's about a 5 min drive into the ski mountain village which has the basics but a 15 minute drive into downtown Big Sky. it was a truly wonderful experience and we would love to come back!

Beautiful, spacious three-story home with quick access to Ski In & Out lift accommodations. Each room was very cozy and comfortable, stocked with nice towels and toiletries in the bathrooms. The kitchen was equipped with top-of-the-line pots, pans, knives, and equipment, along with great starter spices and oils, and a large fridge/freezer. The garage was set up with a boot warmer and board/ski rack making the mornings very easy. The hot tub was incredible for an early sunrise or afternoon relaxation post-hill run. Big Sky Rentals was readily available if we needed anything: we had an issue with the coffee maker on day one and it was replaced that afternoon when we got back to the house. Their team was on top of everything, making our stay easy, breezy, and enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here with a large group, we had 12 people with plenty of space and no echoing of sound for various risers, late late-night hangouts. Looking forward to booking with Big Sky Rental again. 5 out of 5 stars.

Great spot for skiing family / friends
We brought two families with a mix of skiers and non-skiers. The house is clean and functional. The neighborhood is serene. The ski-in / out is pretty convenient to the main base. Also, the drive into town in a good bit shorter than Moonlight Basin. Good spot.

Gereat Family Retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oglala 9. Our extended family used this home as a base for exploring Yellowstone. It is a bit of a trek to get back and forth to the park, but it was worth it. Our family of 9 stayed for 6 nights in Jan '23. A perfect location with easy ski-in, ski-out, a well stocked kitchen, 2 large 2nd floor bedrooms with their own bathrooms, 2 medium sized bedrooms on the first floor with a shared bathroom and a basement bedroom with 2 bunk beds (could sleep 4-6) with its own bathroom. The basement also has a pool table and TV area. For us, we utilized the 1st and and 2nd floor bedrooms/bathrooms and left the basement as a play area. Lots of flexibility here. The hot tub was awesome as well as the outdoor grill, indoor fireplace and gas fire pit. A generous supply of split wood was provided on the front porch. We were 3-4 min away by car to the base area and 15-20 min away from the Town Center. The house was in excellent condition. So, this was one of our best rental house experiences with great communication and top notch service.

We had a wonderful two weeks with family and friends., hiking and mountain biking. The house is walking distance from the Mountain Village, bike rentals and summer lifts, which made it very convenient. It’s beautifully appointed, the bedrooms and bathrooms very comfortable and upscale, the kitchen more than adequate for a family of foodies and cooks. The outdoor grill was excellent. The pool table also level and well-maintained. We enjoyed the fire pit and eating on the deck, but the deck is not private as other cabins are close by.

The only thing I have as a negative is that it is not really a ski in ski out. Especially for snowboarders. I would just let the guest know that ahead of time so that they know they will have to do some walking coming back to the house unless there is a lot of snow on the rds.

Property Manager: Thanks for all your help! Property: Great ski-in Ski-out. Great BRs and living space! We ere a party of 11 with 2 girls under 9. The ski in ski out worked out very well with minimal polling. House is centrally located between the Resort Base and Madison Base with easy lift access to both areas. The house was excellent. Great fireplace, great room, dining area, and kitchen. Bedrooms were excellent, bunk room accommodated 6 boys. Pool room was awesome for the kids, when they weren't skiing they were hanging out shooting pool. Hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Definitely would stay here again.

One could not have asked for better accommodations, answering questions, or meeting our needs, of which were very few. All prep work was done to perfection, and all we had to do was to enjoy. Everyone made us feel welcome and appreciated. It begs us to return. Property: It was all we planned for and more. What a wonderful place to meet family from all around and enjoy each other. Property: We had a group of 5 guys. We stayed at the house for 4 nights. We loved the house and its location. Book Big Sky's service was great as well. House - 10/10 - this house has all the amenities you need or want. Highlights: large hot tub, outdoor fire ring, wifi, speakers all over the place that are run by Sonos, well-equipped kitchen, well-equipped garage, plenty of firewood, and a pool table. Service - 10/10 - a representative from Book Big Sky met us the first day and answered all of our questions about the house and its amenities. When we had a question about how to run the gas fireplace in the basement, they got us an answer in only few minutes. Very professional. Ski in - 7/10 - a little tricky skiing back to the house. Some flat spots along the way, and some skiing on the street. But nothing horrible. Ski out - 9/10. A tiny bit of skiing in the street. All in all, this house is great. Do not hesitate to rent it. You will not be disappointed.

Property: Just spent a great week at Big Sky and this home was the perfect home base for a fantastic ski vacation. The house is beautiful, the skiing was absolutely phenomenal, and the ski in/ski out with such close proximity to the mountain base was ideal. We cooked almost all our meals at home and found everything we wanted in the kitchen. The downstairs with the pool table and media area is perfect for teenagers. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day of skiing. There is lots of storage in the garage for skis and gear, boot heaters and seating to make taking boots on and off easier. I really liked the way the house is laid out and plan on renting it again for a summer vacation. I highly recommend this property! I would also highly recommend lessons from the Big Sky ski school and snowmobiling in Yellowstone (Rendezvous Snowmobile rentals). We spent a ten degree day in Yellowstone on snowmobiles and I was shocked at how much fun can be had in such cold weather. Our guide, Landon, was exceptional as was everything else about our week in Big Sky!

Property: I had the pleasure of spending two weeks at Silver Wolf Cabin in January. The cabin was a beautiful blend of rustic and ski lodge chic! We ate most dinners at Silver Wolf and found the kitchen very easy to work in and it was very will equipped. The mattress was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. Everyone enjoyed soaking in the large hot tub nightly and gazing up at the stars. Most importantly, the ski in, ski out could have not been easier. It was a fun run over to the base area from Silver Wolf. I look forward to returning to Big Sky and hopefully renting Silver Wolf in the future.

Property: We absolutely loved this cabin and all its beauty and amenities! We have never stayed at a cabin that offered so much and fit our families so well. It was beautifully decorated and maintained and so close to everything we wanted out of our vacation. We loved the Geyser white water rafting, Jake's horseback-riding, the ranch Yellowstone tour, and even the little pond with kayaks at the resort base! The property manager was there to show us around and see to any needs we may have had. We would LOVE to come back here someday!

Property: This unit met our every need. it was very cozy and well decorated. All of the rooms were very private from the main living space. The basement was a great place to hang out at night and play pool or games with the family. As a beginner skier, I would say it is easy to ski to and from the lift. It was very nice having the boot and glove warmers!!

We stayed in early April for a week ski trip with another family. We fit comfortably in the home with 6 adults and 6 children. The hot tub and pool table were a lot of fun and the location was accessible to the White Otter lift. No complaints and great memories here.

With 8 separate beds plus a pull out sleeper sofa, this house is well equipped for families or groups of friends. Note one of the bedrooms is equipped with two double bunks (4 beds) but as long as the group is close knit, it works well. Overall great facility. - The Downhill Derelicts

The house has a great layout with great spaces both in the bedrooms and the common areas. Very good amenities. Great ski in ski out access. Service was excellent! Very response and always on top checking on us and responding to any questions we had. Overall a great vacation experience!

This was the perfect property for our annual friends' ski trip. It was spacious, clean & well-appointed with amenities. There was a beautiful view from the hot tub on the wrap around porch, a large dining table, and plenty of wood provided for the fireplace. Check In/Out was as simple as it gets, with great text communication from the Property Management company before & during the stay. A 5 star property!

We had a group of 9 adults. We stayed for 4 nights. The home was clean and well stocked with dishes, glasses & kitchen tools. We loved staying there and discussed the possibility of going back someday! Overall though it is a beautiful home in a brand new neighborhood. There is a 1 block walk to the ski run. Getting back to the home by ski run, however is not suitable for beginners.

Brand new, vary clean, very good sound system, pool table is good, hot tub is very good, garage heater and ski shoes warmer is really good idea, ski in very good and ski out very good ( you have to find right way otherwise you push a lot ). Suggestion ski house need to have screwdrivers for skis and snowboards. Thank you. We loved it, everything was great. Really hope to be back!!!!!!

We ere a party of 11 with 2 girls under 9. The ski in ski out worked out very well with minimal polling. House is centrally located between the Resort Base and Madison Base with easy lift access to both areas. The house was excellent. Great fireplace, great room, dining area, and kitchen. The garage and changing area was a little cramped. Bedrooms were excellent, bunk room accommodated 6 boys. Pool room was awesome for the kids, when they weren't skiing they were hanging out shooting pool. Hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a group of 5 guys. Wes stayed at the house for 4 nights. We loved the house and its location. Book Big Sky's service was great as well. House - 10/10 - this house has all the amenities you need or want. Highlights: large hot tub, outdoor fire ring, wifi, speakers all over the place that are run by Sonos, well-equipped kitchen, well-equipped garage, plenty of firewood, and a pool table. Service - 10/10 - a representative from Book Big Sky met us the first day and answered all of our questions about the house and its amenities. When we had a question about how to run the gas fireplace in the basement, they got us an answer in only few minutes. Very professional. Ski in - 7/10 - a little tricky skiing back to the house. Some flat spots along the way, and some skiing on the street. But nothing horrible. Ski out - 9/10. A tiny bit of skiing in the street. All in all, this house is great. Do not hesitate to rent it. You will not be disappointed.

Just spent a great week at Big Sky and this home was the perfect home base for a fantastic ski vacation. The house is beautiful, the skiing was absolutely phenomenal, and the ski in/ski out with such close proximity to the mountain base was ideal. We cooked almost all our meals at home and found everything we wanted in the kitchen. The downstairs with the pool table and media area is perfect for teenagers. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day of skiing. There is lots of storage in the garage for skis and gear, boot heaters and seating to make taking boots on and off easier. I really liked the way the house is laid out and plan on renting it again for a summer vacation. I highly recommend this property! I would also highly recommend lessons from the Big Sky ski school and snowmobiling in Yellowstone (Rendezvous Snowmobile rentals). We spent a ten degree day in Yellowstone on snowmobiles and I was shocked at how much fun can be had in such cold weather. Our guide, Landon, was exceptional as was everything else about our week in Big Sky!

I had the pleasure of spending two weeks at Silver Wolf Cabin in January. The cabin was a beautiful blend of rustic and ski lodge chic! We ate most dinners at Silver Wolf and found the kitchen very easy to work in and it was very will equipped. The mattress was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. Everyone enjoyed soaking in the large hot tub nightly and gazing up at the stars. Most importantly, the ski in, ski out could have not been easier. It was a fun run over to the base area from Silver Wolf. I look forward to returning to Big Sky and hopefully renting Silver Wolf in the future.

We absolutely loved this cabin and all its beauty and amenities! We have never stayed at a cabin that offered so much and fit our families so well. It was beautifully decorated and maintained and so close to everything we wanted out of our vacation. We loved the Geyser white water rafting, Jake's horseback-riding, the ranch Yellowstone tour, and even the little pond with kayaks at the resort base! The property manager was there to show us around and see to any needs we may have had. We would LOVE to come back here someday!

Awesome place to stay!
We were here in the summer. The property was in great condition and communication with the property managers was quick and efficient. The ONLY constructive feedback was there were cobwebs up high and on the antler chandelier but with the soaring ceilings and beautiful views, who cares!!!

We had about 16 people and the house was great, no problems sleeping everyone. There are houses around you but you still feel secluded on the mountain. It was a great location to restaurants and the activities that we had planned. We will definitely want to stay in this house again next time we are in Big Sky.

Great multi family vacation house
We stayed in early April for a week ski trip with another family. We fit comfortably in the home with 6 adults and 6 children. The hot tub and pool table were a lot of fun and the location was accessible to the White Otter lift. No complaints and great memories here.

Beautiful cabin, 1 block walking distance to ski access
We had a group of 9 adults. We stayed for 4 nights. The home was clean and well stocked with dishes, glasses & kitchen tools. We loved staying there and discussed the possibility of going back someday! My next comments aren't meant to degrade the quality of our stay, but rather to clarify the arrangements and space in the home. The two living room areas were comfortable, however not quite enough seating for all of us at once. I do not at all agree with this home being suitable for up to 16 guests. 4 of the bedrooms could sleep 2 adults per bed, and the 5th bedroom in the basement had 2 bunk beds. Even if you slept 4 more people in that downstairs bedroom, this still only totals 12 people, plus a pull out sofa. Also there is only parking for 2 vehicles. So for us, we were barely able to get the 9 of us plus gear and luggage into the 2 cars which were the largest SUV's available for rent. Any more people and we would not have fit into 2 cars. There is no parking for a third car anywhere in Big Sky. I called around for over an hour before our trip and no one had anywhere we could park another vehicle. Clearly this is an issue in the whole neighborhood because there were cars parked illegally on the street all around. We did see a tow truck towing a car parked on the street too. Overall though it is a beautiful home in a brand new neighborhood. There is a 1 block walk to the ski run. Getting back to the home by ski run, however is not suitable for beginners. It was a 1 person lane track coming back and you will get stuck walking at 3 points if you do not keep speed. Then also about a 1 block walk back to the house.

Denise, Wow, thank you so much for such detailed feedback. We are glad you loved your stay and would even consider coming back! While the home has 3 king beds, a queen bed, a queen comfort sleeper and two queen beds with two twin beds above, sleeping 16 would mean utilizing every bed spot in the home which we agree is cozy. Really works best with a combination of adults and children. Parking in the winter is truly a challenge. The HOA limits the Powder Ridge Cabins to 2 vehicles and as you discovered it is difficult to find additional parking on the mountain. We hope the Resort adds some paid parking in the future! So glad you found the home to be so beautiful and convenient. Normally the ski in and out is very easy. A simple ski from the garage across the cul du sac on the out and in following the directions for the White Otter Access. I think the challenge was the 60 inches of new snow during your visit! Definitely creates some challenges for the groomers and plowing contractors. There are a few routes that will bring you back to the home without any walking so if you come back again we would love to help better explain the access. What More Could One Ask For
We had the enjoyment with our family of 10 for one week at Big Sky OG9. It was most enjoyable from arrival until departure. Staff very responsive to our every need, of which was few. The house met our needs with only one exception, 5 bedrooms , only 4 baths, however, as a family, we got along just fine. The teens loved the basement. We would give a BIG Thumbs Up for Big Sky. Thank you for a wonderful "home , away from home" experience. We do hope to return in a year. Love seeing Big Sky in its development, keep up the good work.

Nearly Perfect Vacation House
We had a group of 5 guys. Wes stayed at the house for 4 nights. We loved the house and its location. Book Big Sky's service was great as well. House - 10/10 - this house has all the amenities you need or want. Highlights: large hot tub, outdoor fire ring, wifi, speakers all over the place that are run by Sonos, well-equipped kitchen, well-equipped garage, plenty of firewood, and a pool table. Service - 10/10 - a representative from Book Big Sky met us the first day and answered all of our questions about the house and its amenities. When we had a question about how to run the gas fireplace in the basement, they got us an answer in only few minutes. Very professional. Ski in - 7/10 - a little tricky skiing back to the house. Some flat spots along the way, and some skiing on the street. But nothing horrible. Ski out - 9/10. A tiny bit of skiing in the street. All in all, this house is great. Do not hesitate to rent it. You will not be disappointed.

The last best place!!
I had the pleasure of spending two weeks at Silver Wolf Cabin in January. The cabin was a beautiful blend of rustic and ski lodge chic! We ate most dinners at Silver Wolf and found the kitchen very easy to work in and it was very will equipped. The mattress was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. Everyone enjoyed soaking in the large hot tub nightly and gazing up at the stars. Most importantly, the ski in, ski out could have not been easier. It was a fun run over to the base area from Silver Wolf. I look forward to returning to Big Sky and hopefully renting Silver Wolf in the future.

Perfect winter vacation!
Just spent a great week at Big Sky and this home was the perfect home base for a fantastic ski vacation. The house is beautiful, the skiing was absolutely phenomenal, and the ski in/ski out with such close proximity to the mountain base was ideal. We cooked almost all our meals at home and found everything we wanted in the kitchen. The downstairs with the pool table and media area is perfect for teenagers. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day of skiing. There is lots of storage in the garage for skis and gear, boot heaters and seating to make taking boots on and off easier. I really liked the way the house is laid out and plan on renting it again for a summer vacation. I highly recommend this property! I would also highly recommend lessons from the Big Sky ski school and snowmobiling in Yellowstone (Rendezvous Snowmobile rentals). We spent a ten degree day in Yellowstone on snowmobiles and I was shocked at how much fun can be had in such cold weather. Our guide, Landon, was exceptional as was everything else about our week in Big Sky!

The house was ABSOLUTELY perfect. We had 7 of us and there was more than enough space for everyone. Comfort, ease of access to the ski resort and dining options definitely put this rental in the 5 star category. I would highly suggest this location to anyone looking for a ski vacation you will never forget! We will be coming back for sure. Loved every minute of it!

Wow!
We absolutely loved this cabin and all its beauty and amenities! We have never stayed at a cabin that offered so much and fit our families so well. It was beautifully decorated and maintained and so close to everything we wanted out of our vacation. We loved the Geyser white water rafting, Jake's horseback-riding, the ranch Yellowstone tour, and even the little pond with kayaks at the resort base! The property manager was there to show us around and see to any needs we may have had. We would LOVE to come back here someday!
