Great location for skiing. Great views. Great layout. Only downsides were that kitchen was poorly equipped (all pans in bad shape, there was just a single wine glass in the entire house--we used little thimble glasses), many light bulbs were out, and there were no hooks for hanging coats/equipment by the front door (or anywhere).

Beautiful Big Sky mountain community home
Property worked great for my family of 11 plus baby. Everything worked great and the house is outfitted with virtually everything one would want (in most cases multiple items of pots, dish’s, etc). One maintenance item was reported (part of from porch step broke off) and it was immediately addressed. Overall a wonderful experience for all.

Beautiful house in a great location!!
We had a few friends and family at this house. It's a great house in a beautiful and convenient location with amazing views. The White Otter Lift wasn't running, so we couldn't ski out - but we did ski in. The property manager is very easy to work with - the dishwasher stopped working while we were there and they had a repair person out to fix it within an hour. They were very professional and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Property: We were a large family of 16 -- 5 siblings and spouses with a number of nieces and nephews and our parents - a range of ages from 12 to 87! The house and location are even more beautiful than the pictures and suited our diverse family needs very well . The house has everything you would need -- the kitchen was super well stocked with every pot and pan you need -- and we like to cook so that was very important. According to my wife and her sisters in law the house was impeccably decorated and the bathrooms had everything they needed. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Lots of other amenities including a hot tub and an indoor fireplace (which we used with the well stocked wood) and incredible scenery from every room and from the large deck which included an outdoor gas fireplace. We had come from a family wedding in Butte and being from the east coast and not ever having been to Montana we wanted to find a place in the mountains where we could hike and get easy access to Yellowstone -- Big Sky fit our needs exactly. Beautiful, quiet, great hiking within minutes of the house and Yellowstone about an hour away! Communication with the property management company was super and they arrived to give us a quick overview within minutes of our arrival-- they give you a keyless entry code to get into the house when you arrive. We stocked up on groceries in Bozeman at the local Costco which was a smart move as the local grocery store in Big Sky is nice but pricey. They even gave us a box of Montana made caramels which everyone loved and was a nice extra touch. We will be coming back!

Property: This is one of the finest rental property experiences I've had! Arrival and departure were flawless thanks to clear information and early communication from the owner. The property itself is spectacular: beautiful home, wonderful mountain views, lots of amenities, and a quiet, private location. The property is in a development of nearly identical properties, but it sits up high in the development, so it does not feel crowded, and offers unimpeded views of the mountain peaks. The house itself sets up perfectly for a multi-family vacation home, with private sleeping and bathing rooms on separate levels. The home looks professionally decorated and furnished, high quality and pitch-perfect for a vacation home, but still family-friendly. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate multiple people prepping meals and feeding kids, and is open to the rest of the house so that nobody feels stuck in the kitchen . Appliances are top-of-the line, Wolf and Sub Zero. The main level deck wraps two sides of the house, so that you can sit in the sun or the shade, and is perfect for morning coffee, reading, or simply enjoying the mountain views. The gas fire pit is perfect for stretching outdoor time into the cool Montana Summer evenings. As beautiful as the property is, even more impressive about the property (and the owner) is the way little details were superbly considered. For example, on the deck is not just a grill, but a nearly-new Weber gas grill, with an extra tank of propane. Inside the home, the kitchen is superbly stocked with every cooking utensil and appliance we needed- including a large crockpot, coffee grinder, and brand new grill tools. In the bathrooms, showers included stocked dispensers of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. I arranged for two high chairs and a pack-and-play we arrived to find the high chairs already set up at the dining table, and the pack-and-play set up in one of the bedrooms. Nice attention to detail! Another super-impressive detail was the entertainment setup in the lower level family room. A TV was mounted on the wall with a Wii and DVD player, but this is the best part it also included a collection of family-friendly movies, and a note that this particular TV was disconnected from the cable TV service, so that little eyes could not accidentally push a wrong button on a remote control and stumble upon something they need not see. Of course, other TVs in the home had full cable access but that's the kind of thoughtfulness and attention to detail that shows how this property owner is at the top of their game. About mid-week, we needed a fresh tank of propane. I called the office number provided, and it was answered quickly and professionally by a friendly associate who took the time to ask how we were enjoying the property and our time in Big Sky. A fresh tank of propane was delivered to the house quickly and seamlessly. I heartily endorse this property and its owner!

Property: Best Equipped House EVER, and that's not the good part- We rented six cabins at Powder Ridge from BookBigSky for a family reunion that we hold every other year. We have been all over: Hawaii, Outer Banks, Lake Tahoe, Alaska. We've stayed in some VERY nice places. Our cabin was absolutely the best equipped facility we've ever stayed in. Here are the things we did NOT have to buy, because the house already had enough for a week: toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent.. This was on top of an abundance of towels and two bathrooms per room. Better than all this. The views, the deck, the beds, the kitchen, the location. We stayed in summer, so Big Sky was not crowded and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed the area but, more importantly, we really enjoyed the house, inside and out, to spend time with family. This was a spectacular home and BookBigSky.com made it all very easy for us.

Property: Fantastic rustic and spacious cabin in the mountains- We have stayed at this cabin 4 separate times with family. We find the cabin spacious and the kitchen is always set up with everything you need. This cabin can accommodate a large group, yet everyone can enjoy their own personal space. We love the rustic Montana decor. We have seen more types of wild life sitting at the cabin than we have seen at Yellowstone. We have seen bear, fox, deer, elk, big horn sheep and yes, moose. Staying at this cabin is a true Montana experience. We will definitely stay here again.

Property: Great House for the entire family with wonderful views- This home is a luxurious getaway for all ages. We've stayed at this property over the years and noticed the owners are always updating. They have added a larger washer and dryer, fire pit with comfortable chairs, new duvets, boot warmers, ski racks, more TV's, robes, Keurig coffeemaker, more kitchen items, larger grill, and key-less entry. It shows that the owners listen to suggestions from the renters. The management has provided unmatched service. We love to visit Yellowstone, Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Lake Hebgen, Virginia and Nevada City on day trips. The most exciting of all is Bear Tooth Pass. We will keep coming back.

Property: A Piece of Heaven- This gorgeous house is spacious, comfortable and quiet. There is room for everyone to gather together and room for everyone to have their privacy. The views are spectacular and it is close to many great hiking trails. The kitchen is well-stocked and each bedroom feels like its own luxury hotel room. My family and I were able to have adventures during the day and then relax in the outdoor hot tub at night, while taking in the view of the mountains. Sometimes a fox will come by to visit or a deer. My sister even saw a moose. Can't wait to go back!

Property: This is a beautiful unit and wonderful location. If you have a large group, consider having at least one or two vehicles. Every aspect of this rental was fantastic. The management company was extremely communicative. The location was excellent. The home itself was clean and felt "homey". We were able to ski down the street to the White Otter lift and ski back to the house from the White Otter access bridge without any problems. However, if there was less snow this would have required a pretty lengthy walk both out and back in. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious and comfortable. The owners have provided several additional conveniences (eg a dryer in the garage with attachments for 8 pairs of boots, a drying cabinet in the basement for clothing, and enough basic supplies to cover the week for laundry, dishwashing, and firestarting). We are already talking about returning for our annual ski trip next year.

Great house with accurate listing. We had some issues with access codes but the management company always answered and took care of it right away. Beautiful property. Pictures are accurate. Ski in ski out will require some traversing and was very difficult for boarders but skiers had no issue. Would definitely stay again. Kitchen is beautiful and has more dishes and silverware than you'd ever need. Great place.

We loved our stay and Manitou 13 as it was the perfect space for a large group and was easy to access. My only advice for people that have a group of our size is to be sure that you have more than one vehicle if you want to go to the mountain village. It is walkable, but not an easy walk, and there really aren't a lot of options for shuttles or Ubers. If you are on skis it is very convenient to ski in/ski out. The cabin itself was really nice and in excellent condition.

My husband and I stayed here for a week with 4 other couples. The house was totally comfortable for a group of 10 adults. I imagine it would be great for large families or even two families with kids. The open kitchen, dining and living room made it easy to spend time together without being on top of each other. And the washer/dryer made packing for our trip much easier since we knew we could do laundry while we were away. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals at the house for ten people, and we loved having access to a grill. The morning views of the surrounding mountains from the wrap around deck were fantastic and a welcome change from the NYC skyline. And relaxing in the hot tub after skiing was the perfect way to end the day. It was super easy to get to the White Otter lift to start the day. Getting back to the house was a little tricky, but only because the secondary trails weren't marked quite as obviously. After figuring it out the first day it wasn't an issue at all. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Big Sky.

The property exceeded our expectations. From the setting to luxury conveniences, all aspects were flawless. Our party was mostly interested in Yellowstone, but we also took advantage of horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and hiking in the Big Sky area. The Restaurant at Rainbow Ranch, approximately 20 minutes from the property, was exceptional.

We have stayed at this property several times and always notice the updates. Over the years the owners added a larger washer and dryer, fire pit with very comfortable chairs, new duvets, boot warmers, ski racks, a Keurig coffee maker, more kitchen items, robes, a keyless garage door and main floor entry, and a bigger grill. They obviously listen to suggestions from renters. We think this cabin has the best views and the easiest and flattest driveway. We had older family members that appreciated the handrails in the bathroom and the step into the garage. Looking out our windows we've seen moose, a fox and three babies, a bear, and deer. Yellowstone is about 45 minutes away. We love visiting the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Lake Hebgen, Virginia and Nevada City, Ennis, Butte, and Livingston. The most exciting trip was through Bear Tooth Pass.

My family and I were able to have adventures during the day and then relax in the outdoor hot tub at night, while taking in the view of the mountains. Sometimes a fox will come by to visit or a deer. My sister even saw a moose. Can't wait to go back!

I stayed here with 12 family members and we had plenty of room. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. I loved the kitchen and the huge deck! The Vacation Rental staff was very responsive, providing us with great service while we were there. This is definitely one of the nicest vacation rentals I've ever visited and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We have stayed at this cabin 4 separate times with our family. We find the cabin spacious and is set up with every thing you would need. The views are spectacular. We enjoy the rustic furnishing of this cabin. A true Montana experience. We have seen more types of wild life sitting at the cabin, than what we have seen at Yellowstone, which has included, bear, fox, deer, elk, big horn sheep and yes, moose. We will definitely be back and looking forward to staying this cabin again.

The area is beautiful and when I walked in, the place was immaculate! Every room is tastefully decorated and 5 bedrooms gave everyone their space. We enjoyed the hot tub and the relaxation on the spacious deck. The walk in showers were especially nice for my 80 year old Mother who has mobility issues. It has everything you would need. It is a great location to Yellowstone, Idaho and Bozeman. My family and I absolutely loved it there!!

Four couples stayed in Powder Ridge Cabin for 4 days. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of furnishings, excellent property management company, size of the cabin (think large home) and the well furnished kitchen and top of the line appliances. It came furnished with some of the items you forget like dish soap, laundry supplies, coffee filters...we got large amounts of snow but someone was here the next morning plowing the driveway and shoveling the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub which was 3 ft outside the downstairs door. This cabin could have held a lot more people than 4 couples. It is ski in/ski out but skiing out takes a bit of work but is manageable. This cabin had nice thoughtful touches and we would consider staying here again.

We stayed at the cabin with a bunch of family and had an amazing stay. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. We prepared all of our meals while there and the kitchen was perfect to cook in. The management company was amazing and made sure everything went perfectly. The Wii was a very nice addition for the kiddos. We even found a sledding hill right outside the cabin!

Accustomed to luxury? You'll feel right at home with the high-end Asko & Sub-0 appliances. One could easily get used to living the life of luxury in this cabin with every imaginable amenity. Made us wonder how we ever lived without a Wolff stove! The cabin is picture perfect, with towering ceilings, a gorgeous chandeliered rustic dining area with a picturesque mountain view, and more than enough space for everyone. Teens quickly establish themselves in the lower level lounge. Memories of morning coffee or afternoon tea on the deck bring back visions of the mountain skyline and fresh air. This cabin is a cross between a wonderfully equipped modern home & a castle: totally fabulous. Ideal location for many mountain trails and day hikes or horseback rides complete with hot tub for relaxing at the end of the trail. Kirsten & Mike responded to our concerns about meeting bears, by hand delivering to us a can of bear spray--and a tutorial on how to use it. Fortunately we were able to return the bear spray --unused! A spectacular family vacation destination!well worth driving two full days in 100 degree heat. We hope to return!

A group of 6 of us stayed here in Feb 2012. We couldn't have been more pleased with the house, but also with the service we received from Kirsten and her team. We chose this place because it has 3 king bedroom suites with their own baths. It is hard to find a house with 3 equally nice bedrooms for adults. We cooked in several nights and the kitchen was very nice, Sub-Zero and Wolf. Short drive down the hill to the Mountain Village- a little too far to walk but then it is very private with a great view. Overall, we all liked it. And, we were super pleased with the service - when one of us had a FedEx delivered to her office, Kirsten even delivered it up to the house for us.

For our annual friends ski trip, we spent 4 nights in this Powder Ridge cabin. We've stayed in other cabins in the development, and it's true that this one is so much nicer. The living space is larger, the decor is gorgeous, and it's well equipped. We have young children and the ski-in/ski-out was easy compared to other places we've rented. We loved it all and have only two suggestions - space heaters in the two main floor bedrooms and benches/hooks by the downstairs door for ski gear. Michael and Kirsten were great - always in touch, proactive and helpful. We loved this property and had an amazing vacation in Big Sky!

What a fantastic time we all had. From zip lining to horse back riding to hanging out in the jacuzzi, not one event outdid the other. Ok, seeing the grizzly and her two cubs, the black bear 20 yards from the cabin and the little fox near the hot tub all in the same day ranked pretty high. The Jazz Fest and the Spring Market in down town Big Ski was exactly the type of entertainment we were looking for in order to relax, unwind and let the kids run free. I couldn't ask for a better location or a better place to stay. The cabin was exactly as promised and provided plenty of room for all of us to spread out. (I'm so glad I selected the king size bed on the master floor. Those stairs from bottom to top could really take your breath away.) I highly recomment this cabin for multiple families or families with lots and lots of children. We will be back for sure! Thank you for everything.....

There were 2 families (12 people total!) staying here - It was never crowded! We were very excited about the great kitchen, that was stocked with everything we needed to create fantastic meals. The Hot tub was a hit, the location, beautiful!! But the most stand out touch was the awesome customer service! Kirstin & her team were very professional, kind, prompt, & helpful - This is the BEST customer service experience we have ever had with a rental (or a hotel for that matter!) - Well worth investing your time and money to stay here!

This cabin was outstanding! The layout was great for multiple families. There was adequate space and yet the main floor (kitchen, dining, great room) were cozy. Everything was clean and well kept. The management was very detailed and thorough, going above and beyond our expectations. The views were gorgeous and it was quite easy to ski-in, ski-out. We would rent this cabin the next time we ski Big Sky.

Truly an amazing cabin! Our large group found no trouble spreading out and making ourselves comfortable in one of the several living spaces. The location was perfect; far enough from the main drag to feel like you're experiencing nature, but close enough to make supply runs less of a hassle. (We were actually quite surprised how well the place was stocked with basic essentials like toilet paper and laundry pods)
We did arrive in early June, which is considered "offseason" for some businesses, but had no trouble finding things to do in Big Sky. We did luck out on the weather, which was amazing for our entire stay, but heard from several people that it's not always like that in late spring. Truly lucked out for the outdoor activities we had planned. The location is also perfectly situated between Bozeman and Yellowstone, if either area is on your agenda.
All in all, I highly recommend this AirBNB, and hope to come back someday soon!

Perfect home in Big Sky
Every aspect of this rental was fantastic. The management company was extremely communicative. The location was excellent. The home itself was clean and felt “homey.” We were able to ski down the street to the White Otter lift and ski back to the house from the White Otter access bridge without any problems. However, if there was less snow this would have required a pretty lengthy walk both out and back in. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious and comfortable. The owners have provided several additional conveniences (eg a dryer in the garage with attachments for 8 pairs of boots, a drying cabinet in the basement for clothing, and enough basic supplies to cover the week for laundry, dishwashing, and firestarting). We are already talking about returning for our annual ski trip next year.

Great Big Sky Cabin
Great house with accurate listing. Only issue was it has the worst snow shovel ever, broken and there was 40 inches snow while we were there which made digging out impossible. Would recommend getting a new shovel. We had some issues with access codes but the management company always answered and took care of it right away. Beautiful property. Pictures are accurate. Ski in ski out will require some traversing and was very difficult for boarders but skiers had no issue. Would definitely stay again. Kitchen is beautiful and has more dishes and silverware than you’d ever need. Great place.

Perfect place for a large group
We loved our stay and Manitou 13 as it was the perfect space for a large group and was easy to access. My only advice for people that have a group of our size is to be sure that you have more than one vehicle if you want to go to the mountain village. It is walkable, but not an easy walk, and there really aren't a lot of options for shuttles or Ubers. If you are on skis it is very convenient to ski in/ski out. The cabin itself was really nice and in excellent condition.

Great property for our family vacation! Had everything we needed for 8 adults and 5 kids. The house was very clean, well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking dinners, etc. Check-in was a breeze and any questions we had were answered promptly. I called for more propane after we ran out and someone was there within 15 minutes w a new tank. Highly recommend! We also saw a fox and elk from the deck! I'd say the only slight negative is that you're a little close to other properties but we really only noticed it when trying to look at the stars at night bc of the lights coming off the houses. We all really enjoyed our stay!!!

We were a large family of 16 -- 5 siblings and spouses with a number of nieces and nephews and our parents - a range of ages from 12 to 87! The house and location are even more beautiful than the pictures and suited our diverse family needs very well . The house has everything you would need -- the kitchen was super well stocked with every pot and pan you need -- and we like to cook so that was very important. According to my wife and her sisters in law the house was impeccably decorated and the bathrooms had everything they needed. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Lots of other amenities including a hot tub and an indoor fireplace (which we used with the well stocked wood) and incredible scenery from every room and from the large deck which included an outdoor gas fireplace. We had come from a family wedding in Butte and being from the east coast and not ever having been to Montana we wanted to find a place in the mountains where we could hike and get easy access to Yellowstone -- Big Sky fit our needs exactly. Beautiful, quiet, great hiking within minutes of the house and Yellowstone about an hour away! Communication with the property management company was super and they arrived to give us a quick overview within minutes of our arrival-- they give you a keyless entry code to get into the house when you arrive. We stocked up on groceries in Bozeman at the local Costco which was a smart move as the local grocery store in Big Sky is nice but pricey. They even gave us a box of Montana made caramels which everyone loved and was a nice extra touch. We will be coming back!

This is one of the finest rental property experiences I've had! Arrival and departure were flawless thanks to clear information and early communication from the owner.

The property itself is spectacular: beautiful home, wonderful mountain views, lots of amenities, and a quiet, private location. The property is in a development of nearly identical properties, but it sits up high in the development, so it does not feel crowded, and offers unimpeded views of the mountain peaks. The house itself sets up perfectly for a multi-family vacation home, with private sleeping and bathing rooms on separate levels. The home looks professionally decorated and furnished, high quality and pitch-perfect for a vacation home, but still family-friendly. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate multiple people prepping meals and feeding kids, and is open to the rest of the house so that nobody feels "stuck in the kitchen". Appliances are top-of-the line, Wolf and Sub Zero. The main level deck wraps two sides of the house, so that you can sit in the sun or the shade, and is perfect for morning coffee, reading, or simply enjoying the mountain views. The gas fire pit is perfect for stretching outdoor time into the cool Montana Summer evenings.

As beautiful as the property is, even more impressive about the property (and the owner) is the way little details were superbly considered. For example, on the deck is not just a grill, but a nearly-new Weber gas grill, with an extra tank of propane. Inside the home, the kitchen is superbly stocked with every cooking utensil and appliance we needed- including a large crockpot, coffee grinder, and brand new grill tools. In the bathrooms, showers included stocked dispensers of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. I arranged for two high chairs and a pack-and-play; we arrived to find the high chairs already set up at the dining table, and the pack-and-play set up in one of the bedrooms. Nice attention to detail!

Another super-impressive detail was the entertainment setup in the lower level family room. A TV was mounted on the wall with a Wii and DVD player, but this is the best part; it also included a collection of family-friendly movies, and a note that this particular TV was disconnected from the cable TV service, so that little eyes could not accidentally push a wrong button on a remote control and stumble upon something they need not see. Of course, other TVs in the home had full cable access; but that's the kind of thoughtfulness and attention to detail that shows how this property owner is at the top of their game.

About mid-week, we needed a fresh tank of propane. I called the office number provided, and it was answered quickly and professionally by a friendly associate who took the time to ask how we were enjoying the property and our time in Big Sky. A fresh tank of propane was delivered to the house quickly and seamlessly.

Great House for Groups!
My husband and I stayed here for a week with 4 other couples. The house was totally comfortable for a group of 10 adults. I imagine it would be great for large families or even two families with kids. The open kitchen, dining and living room made it easy to spend time together without being on top of each other. And the washer/dryer made packing for our trip much easier since we knew we could do laundry while we were away. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals at the house for ten people, and we loved having access to a grill. The morning views of the surrounding mountains from the wrap around deck were fantastic and a welcome change from the NYC skyline. And relaxing in the hot tub after skiing was the perfect way to end the day. It was super easy to get to the White Otter lift to start the day. Getting back to the house was a little tricky, but only because the secondary trails weren't marked quite as obviously. After figuring it out the first day it wasn't an issue at all. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Big Sky.

Flawless
The property exceeded our expectations. From the setting to luxury conveniences, all aspects were flawless. Our party was mostly interested in Yellowstone, but we also took advantage of horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and hiking in the Big Sky area. Best place for families
We have stayed at this cabin 4 separate times with our family. We find the cabin spacious and is set up with every thing you would need. The views are spectacular. We enjoy the rustic furnishing of this cabin. A true Montana experience. We have seen more types of wild life sitting at the cabin, than what we have seen at Yellowstone, which has included, bear, fox, deer, elk, big horn sheep and yes, moose. We will definitely be back and looking forward to staying this cabin again.

We have stayed at this property several times and always notice the updates. Over the years the owners added a larger washer and dryer, fire pit with very comfortable chairs, new duvets, boot warmers, ski racks, a Keurig coffee maker, more kitchen items, robes, a keyless garage door and main floor entry, and a bigger grill. They obviously listen to suggestions from renters. We think this cabin has the best views and the easiest and flattest driveway. We had older family members that appreciated the handrails in the bathroom and the step into the garage. Looking out our windows we've seen moose, a fox and three babies, a bear, and deer. Yellowstone is about 45 minutes away. We love visiting the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Lake Hebgen, Virginia and Nevada City, Ennis, Butte, and Livingston. The most exciting trip was through Bear Tooth Pass.

Big Sky Beautiful
The area is beautiful and when I walked in, the place was immaculate! Every room is tastefully decorated and 5 bedrooms gave everyone their space. We enjoyed the hot tub and the relaxation on the spacious deck. The walk in showers were especially nice for my 80 year old Mother who has mobility issues. It has everything you would need. It is a great location to Yellowstone, Idaho and Bozeman. My family and I absolutely loved it there!!

Big, Beautiful Mountain Cabin!

A piece of heaven
This gorgeous house is spacious, comfortable and quiet. There is room for everyone to gather together and room for everyone to have their privacy. The views are spectacular and it is close to many great hiking trails. The kitchen is well-stocked and each bedroom feels like its own luxury hotel room. My family and I were able to have adventures during the day and then relax in the outdoor hot tub at night, while taking in the view of the mountains. Sometimes a fox will come by to visit or a deer. My sister even saw a moose. Can't wait to go back!

Our favorite place to stay in Big Sky!
We have stayed at this cabin twice in the past few years and we love it! Both times we have had 2 or 3 families staying w us and have not felt crowded. The only downside would be the Euro style washer and dryer...it is just not big enough for the size of the cabin. Makes keeping on top of laundry difficult. On the plus side, this cabin has absolutely every amenity you would need. We would highly recommend this beautiful cabin over and over!

Very nice Upgraded Large Cabin
Four couples stayed in Powder Ridge Cabin for 4 days. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of furnishings, excellent property management company, size of the cabin (think large home) and the well furnished kitchen and top of the line appliances. It came furnished with some of the items you forget like dish soap, laundry supplies, coffee filters...we got large amounts of snow but someone was here the next morning plowing the driveway and shoveling the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub which was 3 ft outside the downstairs door. This cabin could have held a lot more people than 4 couples. It is ski in/ski out but skiing out takes a bit of work but is manageable. This cabin had nice thoughtful touches and we would consider staying here again.

Thanks Big Sky Resort, Montana, and the snow Gods.
The management: Management company was great! We had a slow draining tub and within hours they had a plumber take care of it. The girls are really on it and even return emails at night on major holidays. I can have high expectations at times, and they were most certainly met. Their shuttle service was great! Whomever thought that one up needs a raise. While we were there, we heard that another house showed up a day early and not only were they accommodated temporarily, the management moved their entire house the next day to their real house, while they were skiing! We heard this second hand, too. It's stuff like this that makes me want to shame the renters and pedestal the management. The house: Pros: 1. The two living areas were great (main floor and basement floor). 2. The kitchen was great 3. The large dining room table 4. The sum of: hot tub, house is in great condition and not worn, the aesthetics of the house and decorations, and much, much more. Cons: 1. I would love for vacation homes of this size to have a second dishwasher. 2. I would call this about an 80% ski in and ski out; especially snowboarders. It's OK to ski in (although long with a lot of cats tracks), the ski out we found to be a little rough as our house of 11 had only one skier and for us snowboarders, the White Otto run is pan flat in spots. 3. Big Sky Resort needs to sand and salt the roads much, much more. 4x4 is MANDATORY for this house in winter. This is beyond the management's control and lies on Big Sky Resort 4. The washer and dryer are small, stackable, front loading, and Euro style (regular wash is something like 2 hours). A house this size, in my opinion, needs the largest side by side possible. All this is great for Earth and all, but not what I'm looking for on vacation with a house full of people for 10 days. The resort: Great as always. The Yurt dinner, the day care, the ski school, the snow quality and quantity, the restaurants, the friendliness and warm of it all. Just great. All and all, we had a great time and loved the house. We've traveled the world over and have stayed at a lot of chalets in Europe and I would definitely recommend this house, this resort, and most certainly Big Sky Vacation Rentals.

Luxury-style Cabin
Accustomed to luxury? You'll feel right at home with the high-end Asko & Sub-0 appliances. One could easily get used to living the life of luxury in this cabin with every imaginable amenity. Made us wonder how we ever lived without a Wolff stove! The cabin is picture perfect, with towering ceilings, a gorgeous chandeliered rustic dining area with a picturesque mountain view, and more than enough space for everyone. Teens quickly establish themselves in the lower level lounge. Memories of morning coffee or afternoon tea on the deck bring back visions of the mountain skyline and fresh air. This cabin is a cross between a wonderfully equipped modern home & a castle: totally fabulous. Ideal location for many mountain trails and day hikes or horseback rides; complete with hot tub for relaxing at the end of the trail. Kirsten & Mike responded to our concerns about meeting bears, by hand delivering to us a can of bear spray--and a tutorial on how to use it. Fortunately we were able to return the bear spray --unused! A spectacular family vacation destination…well worth driving two full days in 100 degree heat. We hope to return!

2012 Ski Trip
The house is beautiful and well equipped. The room sizes are large with two good size areas to gather with friends. Ski in/out access is as good as we have seen in Big Sky. The garage is big enough to use and easy to access. The only things that could be improved are: the size of the hot tub and the washer and dryer isn’t adequate for that size of house.

Very nice property and great service
A group of 6 of us stayed here in Feb 2012. We couldn't have been more pleased with the house, but also with the service we received from Kirsten and her team. We chose this place because it has 3 king bedroom suites with their own baths. It is hard to find a house with 3 "equally" nice bedrooms for adults. We cooked in several nights and the kitchen was very nice, Sub-Zero and Wolf. Short drive down the hill to the Mountain Village- a little too far to walk but then it is very private with a great view. Overall, we all liked it. And, we were super pleased with the service - when one of us had a FedEx delivered to her office, Kirsten even delivered it up to the house for us.

Stunning!
There were 2 families (12 people total!) staying here - It was never crowded! We were very excited about the great kitchen, that was stocked with everything we needed to create fantastic meals. The Hot tub was a hit, the location, beautiful!! But the most stand out touch was the awesome customer service! Family Va-ka July 2011
12 of us were staying at this property, and we were never crowded. All I can say is that this property was everything that it was advertised as. We had a fantastic stay at this property. The only problem we had was that 2 of the kitchen draw fronts broke away. They need to be attended to.

The Most Wonderful Stay in Montana
What a fantastic time we all had. From zip lining to horse back riding to hanging out in the jacuzzi, not one event outdid the other. Ok, seeing the grizzly and her two cubs, the black bear 20 yards from the cabin and the little fox near the hot tub all in the same day ranked pretty high. The Jazz Fest and the Spring Market in down town Big Ski was exactly the type of entertainment we were looking for in order to relax, unwind and let the kids run free. I couldn't ask for a better location or a better place to stay. The cabin was exactly as promised and provided plenty of room for all of us to spread out. (I'm so glad I selected the king size bed on the master floor. Those stairs from bottom to top could really take your breath away.) I highly recomment this cabin for multiple families or families with lots and lots of children. We will be back for sure! Thank you for everything.....

Great Cabin for multiple families
This cabin was outstanding! The layout was great for multiple families. There was adequate space and yet the main floor (kitchen, dining, great room) were cozy. Everything was clean and well kept. The management was very detailed and thorough, going above and beyond our expectations. The views were gorgeous and it was quite easy to ski-in, ski-out. We would rent this cabin the next time we ski Big Sky.

What a nice vacation home
We enjoyed everything about this home. The kitchen was well appointed, basic amenities were stocked, and it was spacious enough for us to stretch out and not run into each other all of the time. Amazing Big Sky Experience
