This exceptional 6 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom luxury Big Sky vacation home is located in Cascade Ridge, an exclusive gated ski-in/ski-out Big Sky neighborhood in a hilltop setting overlooking Lone Peak, the Spanish Peaks and Gallatin Mountain Ranges and Big Sky Mountain Village. This luxury Cascade Ridge rental boasts rustic-chic mountain architecture, high-end finishes and 4,489 sq ft of elegant designer western interiors throughout to satisfy even the most discerning guests. A stunning and spacious open plan great room with soaring vaulted ceilings and panoramic mountain views awaits on the main level of the home. The great room is anchored by a stone clad wood burning fireplace with plenty of space to gather with friends and family, stream your favorite shows and get cozy in front of the fire. 

At the heart of the home is a gourmet kitchen with high-end stainless appliances, custom cabinetry and a large center island with stools to keep the chef company. The dining area is perfectly placed to enjoy views while you share meals, or step outside for warm-weather alfresco dining. The great room opens to an expensive deck complete with a dining table and firepit for hot cocoa, roasted s’mores and toasty aprés ski with some of the best views in Big Sky. 

This luxury Big Sky home comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests in 6 beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms split over three levels, allowing privacy for larger groups. Bedroom 1 is on the upper level of the home and features a king size poster bed and a spacious private bathroom with double vanities, a glass shower, large soaking tub and walk-in closet. There is a seating area and workspace just outside if your vacation calls for remote work. 

There are two guest suites on the main level of the home. Bedroom 2 features a king size bed, fireplace, flat screen TV and a luxurious private bathroom. The bathroom has double vanities, a soaking tub, a glass shower and walk-in closet and is also accessible through barn doors in the hallway for visiting guests. Bedroom 3 has a king size bed and a private bathroom with double vanities, a glass  shower, large soaking tub and walk-in closet. 

There are three additional bedrooms on the lower level. Bedroom 4 has a king size bed and bedroom 5 has a queen size bed. Both have private bathrooms and open to a furnished outdoor deck with a large hot tub. Bedroom 6 is perfect for kids with 2 twin bunkbeds and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. All 4 beds in the bunk room come with their own light and charging outlets. The lower level media room allows guests to spread out and boasts a comfy sectional sofa, a bar and a large flat screen TV equipped with an Xbox One X for entertainment. There is also a high-efficiency laundry room on this level for guest convenience. 

Cascade Ridge 9 is situated a short distance from the Moonlight entrance yet conveniently close to all of Big Sky’s attractions and activities, including the famous Beehive Basin hiking trail. A short drive to the bustling bars, grills, and cafes of Big Sky Resort Mountain Village and a perfect basecamp from which to explore Big Sky Country and Yellowstone National Park, this custom Big Sky vacation rental offers the best that Big Sky has to offer.

This home is ski accessible vs. true ski-in/ski-out. The ski in and out are long and utilize several groomed real estate trails and a variety of chairlifts and tow ropes, poling and skating is required. The anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is December 16, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid-April, prior to resort closing.  There is no ski access until White Otter lift opens. 

Ski Out: 
Step out of the garage, head right on the road and walk 350 yards up to the Cascade Ridge Lodge. From here, take the Little Thunder run down until it merges into Middle River under the Cascade lift. Follow Middle River under the bridge to the White Otter Lift. Ride up the White Otter chairlift to White Wing run and follow the signs on the left of the trail that directs you to Mountain Village. This will take you straight to Big Sky Resort's base area.

Ski-In: 
Option 1: From the top of Swift Current lift, take Lower Morningstar to the second set of Powder Ridge signs on the left. Follow the signs for White Otter Access. Cross over the White Otter skier bridge and immediately turn right on the groomed access and ski back under the chair lift. Option 2: From the top of Six Shooter, follow Fast Lane back to Big Sky Resort. Take a left at the Cascade Lift sign and immediately take a right to follow the trail to White Otter chair lift. Before the bottom of the White Otter chairlift, stay on the left to the rope tow. Take the rope tow to the top to get to the Cascade Lift. Get on the Cascade Lift and at the top, get on the Little Thunder lift. This will take you back to the Cascade Ridge Lodge. From there, you can ski down the road back to your rental home if the roads are snow covered, or walk down 350 yards back to the garage.
